Euromatic 40cm Pedestal Fan EUR-TFD40M

EUROMATIC 40CM PEDESTAL FAN – This is the third Euromatic fan I've purchased from Bunnings - The build quality is excellent, and Euromatic fans are very effective and good value for money... however: I bought the 40cm Pedestal fan with remote, to assist air circulation in a bedroom on hot nights. Positive: - very good air flow. Negatives: (a) It only has three speeds - all are noisy, much louder than other Euromatic models. (b) The front display consists of a bright blue LED display, lighting the whole room up at night. No way to turn it off, so I resorted to a piece of thick, black adhesive cloth tape. That fixed this problem. It's frustrating, as the cheaper Euromatic pedestal fan (no remote) has a variable control, no bright display, and is very quiet. Lesson: consider the options carefully. (By the way, I consider Bunnings products and services to be very good).
