Lemon – The first one would not stay lit so we exchanged it the next day. In 11 months we had the repairman out 3 times and took it to a recommended repairer once, all for dodgy ignitions. When we got it home from the repairer after more than a week, it would not turn off by pressing the one button. We had to press all the buttons 1,2,3 repeatedly until… Read more
it turned off. We bought this because our previous Everdure lasted 12 years. We got a refund today, 3 weeks before the warranty runs out. Buying another brand.
Large space heating – 25MJ with 3 heat settings. 3 fan settings as well. Perfect for large spaces. Very efficient. Charcoal In colour and visible heated rods. Probably not great with small children around but perfect for a large space. Show reply

Did not Buy in the end – Was about to purchase but looked at the minimum required room size. This would have precluded us from closing off part of the house. Oxygen levels and exhaust gases require a relatively large minimum sized area (54 sq m I recall). The older replaced heater had had none of these listings - we were perhaps naive. The open element heaters require… Read more
a larger minimum sized room. It was only by chance we did not buy because it appears to be a very good choice for a large area.
Had found some discounts from RRP.

Made a big big mistake by buying the everdure brigadere.....Totally unreliable and the after sales – Not long after buying the EVERDURE BRIGADERE HEATER the 3 inside tiles cracked and the heater stopped working (I was only using 3 of the 7 tiles) as the heater constantly cuts off. I contacted Shriro Australia Pty Ltd for replacement tiles and requested a service as the EVERDURE BRIGADERE HEATER was still under warranty. Shriro Australia Pty… Read more
sent 1x tile to their authorised gas repairer instead of 3x tiles as was requested on the purchase order from the repairer to them.
Shriro Australia Pty Ltd were made aware of the mistake in their supply, next thing you know Shriro Australia Pty Ltd sent the remainder 2x tiles to a wrong address after. The tiles took 2 weeks to arrive a short distance ---ABSOLUTELY disgusting service
After picking up the EVERDURE BRIGADERE HEATER it was still constantly cutting off (not due to the oxygen sensor) as it cuts out in seconds.
I have now purchased a RINNAI AVENGER 25 PLUS and will take the EVERDURE BRIGADERE HEATER to the TIP where it belongs.
Illegal to install in Victiria. Even though their supplier 2nds World, still ships them – Buyer beware; the natural gas model cannot be installed in Victoria. 2nds World, their retailer, still ships and will not accept returns without a 20% restocking fee and freight paid. I believe this may apply to other states as well. All I want is my money back and I think there should be a disclaimer on their website. I tried to buy Australian and got screwed.
May be a good product but there needs to be more information on where it can be installed and where it cannot.
Avoid this heater – This heater has been a dud since we bought it new. It constantly cuts off (not due to the oxygen sensor) as it cuts out in seconds in a fresh room. Service is hideous and since we (also lit the other review) live outside a metro area, the call our is 20% of the cost of the heater. It is a lemon and worth not going anywhere near it. Maybe they… Read more
could do some testing before they launch ... call out fee regardless of warranty issue or not. Yuk yuk yuk. Nothing at all. Forget this unless a cold room in a mountain town is your favourite Never has worked
