Eye Concepts

The only good point about my experience with Eye Concepts Southland was the optical glass in the eyeglasses. This was undoubtedly the work of an outsourced service as everything else was terrible. To start with, the frames don't fit comfortably and tend to slip down my nose. As well, the arms on one set don't allow a string to be attached. Additionally, they noticed deficiencies in one of my eyes and said they'd contact me at a later date but didn't as was the case re the arms on one set of glasses. Finally, they charge like wounded bulls for substandard work. AVOID ! I'll look for someone to fit the lenses in proper frames.

I brought 2x 90 packs of contacts from their NSW store. I’ve come to the last few contacts and checked the box because l had blurry vision every time l wore them and find out the axis was wrong this whole time!. I hope this hasn’t screwed my eye up. When i rang to tell them, the girl l spoke to couldn’t have cared less and pretty much said nothing to do with us, it was the supplier. I brought them from YOU though. Anyway, be careful when buying Acuvue moist for astigmatism people. It seems they’ll send you any old thing. Not good enough from you Eye Concepts NSW or your Acuvue Moist supplier

They sell ex-display, stretched sunglasses. Avoid this company. I received one incorrect pair of sunglasses that had stretched arms and were unwearable and another pair, which were the correct item, but were also stretched and unwearable. The stickers were well worn like they were ex-display stock. I requested a return of the items and was told to get them adjusted at any optometrist! I went to two and they refused, stating they would void any warranty and they may break. So I requested an exchange of both pairs.
They sent a postal bag, which did not fit the original box so I had to make a phone call to the store and they came up with another return solution.
I was sent two correct products, however, the second pair was just the original item, I had previously returned, with a new sticker on the lens and the same stretched arms making them unwearable. (They probably thought this was hilarious.) Expensive lesson.
If you would like to purchase brand new products DO NOT shop here.
Eye Concepts,All about your money – My experience started on the 27/11/24, when I took my new Ray Ban meta glasses for prescription lens , I should have walked away because the shop didn’t open till 10 am contrary to the advertised time. Whist the optometrist was ok, the support staff was not , in fact the whole experience was one of high pressure rushed and very very expensive, I’m talking double what they should be. I traveled there from quite a distance because I was told on the phone that my ray bans had to be sent to Ray Ban for the lens, I later found out that was not the case, first lie, then when I collected the glasses they had put the wrong lenses in and that they had to go back for the correct ones, frustrated and clearly unhappy because I had payed $650 nearly 3 wks ago, I was offered no apology or compensation for my time and inconvenience instead the bald tattooed guy (sorry don’t know his name) interjected in an intimidating manner to advise me that” that is the way it is”.so I took the glasses whilst the correct lenses where made then I would take them back to have them fitted this was now about the 15-18 Dec 2024. So fast forward to 7/1/25. I collected my glasses and again no apologies or warm greeting or all the stuff the other reviewers experienced. Just the same plain rude hurried service I got previous.
EC, don’t fool yourselves with your fancy media and website, your nothing more than opportunistic, rude and very unprofessional people , BTW , the lens’s don’t fit properly, and I’m concidering my options, but judging from my last 3-4 visits over 6 wks i think I’ll cut my losses .
