We were so excited to buy this appliance, we had waited a long time to get such a beautiful looking oven and cook top. However, in no time at all ( less than 2 years)rust appeared, pitting turned up on the handles, the bottom drawer started falling apart due to rust and corrosion. I sent email after email and called and called. [Name Removed]… Read more
kept going around in circles, they sent someone out who agreed the oven was in terrible condition. He blamed our location being in close proximity to the water. We asked for replacement parts to be sent, they repeatedly sent the wrong equipment despite me having to send photos of every single piece of the cooker. It was like they were trying to delay to avoid warranty. It was a very frustrating process not to mention disappointing. I would not waste your money on a falcon oven. They absolutely not worth it and the customer service is disgusting.
Disappointed – I’ve never been happy with my falcon. The right hand oven doesn’t heat properly. The gas hobs have always been slow. Now they’re so slow I bought a cheap little induction element which is brilliant. Things come to boil really quickly - instead of the 5 plus minutes on the falcon. Then I use the falcon to simmer. I complained about this from the… Read more
start . I was sent various people to look at it, they made promises and then disappeared. After years of this I gave up . Now it feels like the hobs are slowly dying. I really thought this investment would last a life time, instead I’m going to have to get something else pretty soon.

Love Hate relationship… – We installed our Falcon oven with gas cooktop in 2014. Within 18 months, the oven door had begun to fall apart (the screws keeping the internal and external parts together kept popping out). We would fix it by tightening the screws but eventually that didn’t work. At this stage it was still under warranty and Andico organised it to be fixed.… Read more
Immediately after, the insulation fell out and hung between the internal & external glass; however, our door was working (staying together at least) and it had taken some effort for that to happen so we left it. Within another year, the screws were coming out again but it was no longer under warranty so we had to have it fixed. This time, the company fixing it informed us that it would be impossible to fix the door properly as the holes lining up between the internal and external door did not align correctly; it appeared to be a production error and he advised us to request a new door. He had worked with Falcon ovens previously and had never seen this before. We contacted Andico and they asked why we hadn’t tried to sort this out earlier when it was still under warranty and they initially refused to help us, even though we explained we had tried to sort it out but had been fobbed off once it was no longer under warranty. We were told we would have to order all the parts for a new door, which was a pricey process. More recently (five years after installation) our cooktop began playing up and the flames were orange, not blue. We did not contact Andico over this but went straight to our plumber (not the one who had installed it). The first time he came out he said it appeared the fittings did not match and had gradually worn out, which caused the flame change and led to the wok burner distorting due to melting. While it improved for a while on our remaining burners - about 3 months - soon the same problem occurred and we needed it fixed again. Our plumber said it appeared that the outlet on the cooktop appeared to be unable to properly match to a gas fitting connection; he did not know if this was a production error or an initial installation error. After some back and forth “discussions” with Andico (unfortunately the customer service was mostly disappointing but not always) they finally agreed to supply and send all the parts for our door and we would pay for a new gas wok burner (as the original melted due to the malfunctioning) and we would also pay for the work to install it. This was over 3 months ago and we are still waiting for the parts to be sent; this is potentially understandable with current market difficulties in securing parts. Overall, we love the way our oven cooks; it’s a beautiful heat and the roasting oven is divine. If it did not cook so well, we would not persist with the hassles in getting it fixed. Currently we are opening our door with a knife (it’s a process) and cleaning black soot off our pots and pans. This effort does taint your cooking experience somewhat. For the first two years, we LOVED our Falcon and how it cooked. It does show signs of wear & tear now (knobs tarnish, symbols rubbed off) but these don’t bother me as it doesn’t impact the quality and ease of cooking. Our reviews below our on our oven, not Falcon as a brand. I do believe we unfortunately just got an oven that was a bit of a black sheep. I believe Falcon ovens are safe but ours is not; as I said, I have to hold my knee against the door, jiggle in a knife and prise it open gently - it’s a real art! The gas cooktop has also become very unsafe. If you have problems with your Falcon while it is under warranty, be VERY persistent in getting things fixed properly as Andico was challenging to deal with once we were out of warranty.

Love my stove absolutely the best – I love to cook and the stove has everything thing I need to cook cook and cook up a storm. Grill is fantastic, fan forced oven works a dream. Show details
Works as well as it looks – Caveat: we have had our falcon for only nine months, and I acknowledge the best rule of thumb is to restrain from reviewing until you have owned something for at least 12 months. I would add that I am a househusband in a regional area and I'm sure our Falcon has seen more action than a lot of these appliances seen in a lifetime. Strangely it came… Read more
as a surprise to me exactly how good this piece of equipment is to use. Every feature is useful and well thought out. Yes, I can see that some of the painted surfaces are going to get marked, and yes it doesn't look 'new' any more. I understand that people buy these for aesthetics, which is a shame because they're actually a fantastic piece of equipment to cook on.
Beware if you are on solar power – Fantastic oven, except for the clock. I'm on solar power and the clock doesn't work, which is important as it it controls many of the excellent features of the oven. Show details

Not happy at all and don't recommend to anyone – Had it for 4 years now and half of the oven doesn't work, called up the warranty department and they refused the warranty as the purchasor wasn't me. It was my friend. Warranty should apply on their product, not who's the customer Any reason to avoid warranty Absolutely disgusting Show details
Main oven maximum temperature 150c – Have had temperature issues with main oven. Last Ocober i had the thermostat replaced as it wasnt getting hot enough. The oven seemed to work better, but the temperature still seemed a bit inconsistent. l only use the main about than 10x per year (tend to use the smaller right side) Coming upto Christmas & party season I've had to use the main… Read more
oven & like last year, it's not getting hot enough. Ive tested the temperature & it is only reaching 150c. Won't be able to cook Christmas lunch this year. Don't understand what could be wrong.
Disappointed – The right hand permanently fan forced oven is impossible to cook a roast in without setting off all smoke alarms when I open the door. Unlike the other oven, there is no steam outlet. Hard to clean and everything tastes of burnt roast meat. For a very expensive oven I expected better! It’s been inspected but no result.

I wanted to love it but don't! – Oven looks fantastic in the kitchen but to be honest it doesn't work as well as I had expected for the price. The RH oven is really just a warmer, takes a while to heat up. The Wok hob has never worked properly. You turn it on and it constantly goes out for the first minute or so. We had it looked at once during covid - still did it afterwards and… Read more
now it's out of warranty and they won't look at it which I get as it's out of warranty but same issue - thought they may reconsider! It still functions but it's a pain in the bum! It's great having the 5 hobs on top and the main oven is great, nice and big. Would probably look at more alternatives for the next one, as this was expensive and I expected to love it!
Not happy – I got a sms with a delivery date and time specifically told them we were unable. We called them, they didn't know why we received the sms. Anyway we got the oven and installed. We realised that pan supports were wrong one, so I called andico. We were advised we have to wait a few weeks. I can not use gas top. I don't even know when I can use gas top. Show details
From day one absolute piece of crap. $6000 of wasted money – Stickers pealed off/ faded after 3 months. Oven dosent light. I have to hold door, light at back of oven and hope I don’t get blown up. $6000 for a pile of crap. Never ever pay your hard earned money for this pile of crap Show details
Agree with Ray – Totally agree with Rays comments, you have to turn the ovens up by at least 40 deg and yes l have tried cooking at different levels in the oven. Big mistake not getting fan forced. Show details

Absolutely junk ovens need to be at least 40 degrees above normal temperature eg 180 equqls 220 – Ovens goof badly no heat movement tested temperatures around the oven and they are inconsistent where they vent it is difficult use the oven for more than one item eg roast and vegetables Show details

Should work, should be easy: too many problems with it – Do not order; you'll be dealing with 3rd part contractors from the moment you buy (even if you buy from someone like Harvey Norman which I did. I never had contact with Harvey Norman after they took my deposit). So I ordered it 30th Sept 2020, told it would arrive beginning of Dec 2020. Dec came and went. It arrived Jan 5th 2021. deliver it using a contractor service (M3 logistics) who would not deliver it up the stairs (despite this thing being worth $10000 and despite me being very clear it needed to come up he stairs.). the delivery guys were told by there boss (M3 logistics in Melbourne: ) that if they damaged it: it would come out of their wages!!! so they refused to take it up the stairs. These were workers desperate to keep a job. pretty sure that's an illegal threat in Australia it meant they wouldnt even try to take it up the stairs in case hey dropped it.!. 3 weeks later, they came back, with more guys and I finally I got through 4 different people and the item is delivered up the stairs. On the way up, the delivery guys knock a pot plant off a tall wall onto a car below. It breaks the side mirror. The national M3 logistic manager tells me to send photos: but doesn't give me his email address nor picks up the phone again. I call ANDI and CO: they say they will follow up. eh person following up goes on holidays. the car mirror costs me $680 to replace. After a week, I notice the oil isn't even in pans, the biscuits are burning on one side oft he oven. it turns out the side is warped. I tell them I think it happened in the manufacturing place it looks like it wasn't put on properly, they say they'll send out a technician. 24 hours the a technician makes a time. I ring to confirm and am told they are waiting on a part and they will call me when it's in. I say " but you haven't even seen the cooker yet". they say "we know what part you need ". 2 weeks later, I'm wondering where they are, I call Andi and Co (person importing these cookers) and am told it' fine: they parts are in and it wont be long. then I get told: they part is on back order and they'll let me know when it's in....: hover, a technician turns up by appointment: I assume he has the part... without the part. He's unsure they were supposed to get a part. He looks a he oven: the back foot wont wind up or down (hence the uneven cooking surface) and the side is definitely warped and in need of replacement. he goes away. ONE MONTH LATER the part comes in, and they send out a technician . I ask how long the technician will be as he comes in the last 15 minutes of a 2 hour window and I have to go for literally 20 mis. he tells me he has never replaced this before, and goes to pull the oven out the wrong way despite my protests, and scratches my new floors as he doesn't tilt the oven back on to the rollers for easy in and out (As the manual says to do it).The technician replaces the side panel and loses and breaks the timer buttons: and tell me "it's ok, we'll just fix it later". really???. so although he's now fixed the oven: he's broken the push buttons and I cannot read or change the time on the oven, I cannot put a timer on, and the timer now goes off randomly form stuck bits inside the cooker! so have to stand there watching the ovens cook, and I cannot put on ovens to go on if I'm not home. Again: "waiting on a part". Andi and Co's solution is to give me a kettle and cast iron an that weighs 3 kilo s EMTPY.. imaging what it would weigh full of a casserole/ food???? I cant pick it up easily an I move 25 kilo bags of grain every day... and I cannot even detach the handle to put it in the oven and its got a griddle design on it: (I already have a griddle plate so it's completely useless), oh: and a "FALCON" branded tea towel and apron (classy!!!!) DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!! the service once you purchase is horrendous. I'd love to be more factual about the cooking: but I cannot as I have to watch it like a hawk due to side and foot fault not cooking evenly. I have made casseroles./ toast/ oven baked fish/ roast/ biscuits/ pies/ cooked bread/ cheesecakes/ biscuits/ gingerbread/ cakes but have to keep a check on ovens the whole time. top shelf burns bottom shelf undercooked. I use this oven every day since having it and it's been nothing but heartache whilst draining haps of power.
Great oven but some parts are poor quality – Soaked the 8 knobs in soapy water for an hour and all of the chrome came off the knobs when we dried them. Replacement of 8 knobs is around $320. For the price of the oven you would expect the chrome parts to be brass and not plastic. Such a let down for a quality oven. Show details · 1
wonderful oven, but – I Have owned my Falcon 110 classic all gas oven for about 10 years and have loved every minute of it, but over the last 3 years all the gas jets have failed and now I can barely use even one of them. gas components at huge cost but it has not solved the problem at all. I am soo disappointed. I expected it to last longer - a lot longer. I would love to know if there is a way to get the gas to come through the jets properly again. It is not hygenic to cook at such low temperatures...

Rubbish – Bought this oven 3 years ago for $8,000. Would not give you $500 for it now. All the decals faded after one year. Rang the dealer was told we would have to buy an entirely new front panel. $100s dollars, what’s the point if the decals are just going to fade after a year. than the originals. None of the automatic igniters on the gas top now work, all have to be manually lit. The grill has to be manually lit. And now the left hand oven has stopped working all together. Can’t even manually light that. Utter rubbish. So very disappointed.

I only wish the oven had more functions as it is only fan forced which is no so great for quiches and pizzas as they need bottom heat. But the oven decals have come off can I get replacements??? Classic 110cm LPG gas oven Very happy! – Hi, Have had my Classic 110cm LPG gas oven for a couple of months now and couldn't be happier. Ovens cook beautiful from roast to pavlova, have used it everyday and had two ovens and cook top going at once. Less important to me, but not for others, it is a beautiful looking oven as well, I bought Cranberry colour. Worth every cent!
Excellent – I purchased the Falcon 110 Dual Fuel 5 years ago and I am so pleased that I did. Mine is black with the brass trim and it not only looks amazing it cooks amazingly well. The electric ovens heat quickly and I'm using gas bottles and find it uses minimal gas. I wonder if the issue people have with the decal wearing off and the brass rail are to do… Read more · 1
with them leaving the oven doors open to cool because mine are as good as new. This cooker is the centre piece of my kitchen and I love it. The rangehood came as part of a deal and that is very noisy.

Decided to install – Well we decided to install the Falcon stove, only to fine the bottom front grill was damaged and the wheel adjuster has been snapped. I must admit it is a good looking piece. Just have to see if I can find replacement fittings. Show details · 1
Decals – I also have decals for that have worn of with use. I’m in sure if I can just purchase new decals. Very unhappy about this they have never been a scrubed just wiped. Also I’ve have the warming plate deplane once at my cost but it went again and I haven’t bothered to replace it again to expensive fo the amount that it was used. Otherwise love it. Junk buy something else, even a base model Westinghouse – We have a full gas falcon stove. Aesthetically it is the best. People visit our house and complement us on the stove frequently. Functionally, the hot plates are ok, nothing special. The ovens are just useless. If you put anything on the lower shelf’s and are not careful to keep it at the front, I.e push it too far back, it burns because the… Read more
flames are too close. Prior to this oven we had a gas Westinghouse. The flame was covered so the whole oven could be used. I have to cook roast etc.on the highest temperature on the highest shelf and if I put anything on a lower shelf it takes ages to cook. I put the roast and veggies in at the same time. The second oven is even slower. I have checked the temp using a digital thermometer and is not accurate compared to the settings and the temp is not even through the oven. I recently used a blanco oven, and that has prompted me to write the review. The blanco just ran rings around the falcon. The blanco was a pleasure to use. Even our cheap old Westinghouse was a far superior oven. Really it is just junk. If you do not cook and want a good looking oven, by the falcon.

Lasted well - but after care expensive – My Falcon 900 Dual Fuel still performs well and looks good after 10 years of daily use. Wednesday and my baby gives me plenty of options for the ovens as one is fan forced and the other a convection. The only negative is not with the stove but the Falcon Exhaust which is very noisy but that seems to the thing with Exhaust fans except the ones that have a motor is in the roof space.
Should have changed over earlier – Having persisted with an expensive but good looking Italian job which disappointed with both performance and durability it has been a pleasure to cook with the Falcon. Even cooking throughout when correct shelf chosen, no longer have to move during cooking to get desired result, quick to reach temperature. Gas burners much closer to action and… Read more · 1
very easy to control down to slow simmer without them flaming out. Teamed with the Falcon extractor, now do not have to turn up the tv when in use and the air cleaner. Do not have to turn on ac to clear. Not the cheapest alternative but worth the money.
Great cooker! – As a Brit, I really wanted an Aga, especially when living in Edinburgh but moving to Sydney saw that aspiration as unsuitable due to the heat of the climate. The Falcon was a great alternative, and was recommended by a colleague. We were going for the Belling due to the warming drawer (it's a shame that the Falcon's drawer is not a slow cooker or… Read more · 1
warming drawer) but got put off by the rather tinny controls on the Belling. We ordered the Falcon early in the year for a June installment in a new kitchen and it hasn't let us down. The gas hob is huge, with plenty of space for a large fryinging pan/wok (and four other burners). The warming plate is a fantastic alternative to a warming drawer, warming plates very quickly (and keeping things warm after serving). The main ovens warm up really quickly and seem "hotter" than our old oven! We're having to reduce our "usual" temperatures, perhaps because our old oven was so inefficient. It's great having both ovens, although they are a little bit smaller than our old "standard" oven. No practical problem so far. The only curious design fault is that any food that falls down the vents at the back, are not easy to retrieve!! Not worked out what to do about that yet.
Overall, we're delighted with the range. It looks very classical in our 114 year old Federation Sydney house, and the hood works well, providing great illumination and an efficient extraction (we vent outside).
Very pleased with the purchase.
A Pleasant Surprise! – I was very pleasantly surprised about how well this stove works. As a natural sceptic, I wasn't expecting anything special, but honestly, it's pretty near impossible to cook a bad meal with this stove. My first experience with my oven was Christmas dinner - two ovens, one for the meat, one for the veges meant it was all perfect. The accuracy of… Read more · 1
the ovens and the gas cooktop are brilliant - no over-cooking, no burnt bits on pans. And it looks fantastic too.
Best stove I've ever owned – Oven cooks perfectly and fast! Induction top is so easy to clean and cooks better than gas. The Low simmer is brilliant, food gently simmers along and does not stick to the saucepan. Great for fast boiling as well. And it looks amazing. So many compliments from family and friends. Best purchase I've made in a long, long time. Highly recommend. Show details · 1

potentially cut ones fingers when using the stove. It also has a high probability of rusting in the future.
Our first reaction when the unit was unpacked was "Great, it looks a million Dollars" however closer examination quickly revealed some manufacturing shortcomings - conclusion: Looks over substance. It's all a bit "tinny" particularly when considering the cost of the unit.
The importer of the stove decided as a "goodwill" gesture to replace the most badly affected part however when the repair man arrived he found that the new replacement part was of the same substandard quality.
He volunteered to check other spare parts and informed us that he was unable to find a better finished unit.
