Great value for money – I purchased the Kori sofa on my sister’s recommendation, and I’m so glad I did. The team is genuine and provided best advice. They suggested me to cancel one seat which I initially wanted to include and later turned out they were so right! Delivery was on time I received the sofa before Christmas as promised. Great value – We got out dining set delivered just before christmas and im so happy with it. The dining set is just what we wanted. I couldn’t find the size we want in any store around so I tried searching for it online and found it in their website. Pretty smooth and straight forward order payment and delivery.

Avoid shopping here. Cheap and nasty products – Ordered a bed leather frame from them, took the full 14 weeks to told the frame was ready for delivery. Unboxing the bed to find the slats are not sprung as stated and the protective strips to go over the slats are missing. There is sticky glue adhesive All over the mattress frame. on their website. I have actually found the exact same frame locally for $750 which is $500 cheaper and only $50 freight. The do not respond to emails and are somewhat rude when they do.
Avoid at all cost. They are a rip off.
excellent service – We were looking for a marble coffee table. Found one on line that we liked and drove to Riverwood to see it. Although not in stock, we paid a deposit. When it arrived we were interstate and could not pick it up for a month. Leo kindly kept it for us all that time and helped put it in our car. The table looks great in our living room. Delays and bad service – I ordered furniture on 7 aug and till date no signs of my furniture It’s almost 4 months I emailed them but no reply I will be putting in a complain with ombudsmen and also a police complain as this is not acceptable Already paid a deposit too Show details

My husband found Fancyhomes online. We went and they have different options. Most importantly the price is affordable. I mean not the cheapest, but reasonable. The sales person Leon was very patient till the end and gave us lots of advice. Also, no offence, to the one who left comment before me, I'm pretty sure their website has very clear explanations about the leather and the price.
Again, I wanna thank Fancyhomes from the bottom of my heart!! It is impossible to make everyone happy. And it is impossible to get the good quality stuff at very low price. Some ppl they pick the cheap options themselves regardless of others' suggestions. Later they blame their mistakes on you.

The actual product quality or appearance is nothing like the photos. Avoid at all cost – We made the purchase after going into store and having a look at the products. it takes 8-10 weeks at that point and then after 9 weeks we were told they were storms overseas so it may take longer. What is really frustrating is that you are constantly dealing with different people and explaining yourself over and over again and they don't give you actual answers it's always general responses which gives them wiggle room and won't commit to dates etc... we only ended up getting the products after 16 weeks and it wasn't even worth the wait. I'm not one to write negative reviews often but this was an extremely bad experience especially given the price i paid for the furniture.

Love the couch and great customer service! – I really love our new wave lounge! The firmness and dimensions are exactly what I've been looking for! Very comfortable! I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality, comfort and appeal of the sofa. The equivalent in a retail furniture store would have cost around twice as much. on a Jolanda leather corner lounge with customized size and color, but we had to wait 8 to 12 weeks. On about the 9th week we received a call from them to book our delivery I was impressed as I had several days to choose from even weekend. The New Lounge looks so great,which is exactly what we want.

My worst nightmare online shopping experience – Very very terrible by sending me faulty product - wrong parts, stain on fabric then replacing with mould and water damaged part and asked me to expect it. 2013, I made an order online for my bed frame from fancyhomes.com.au after discussed with Lewis which believe to be sales manager (everything seems to be straight forward).
The bed frame was delivered on 25th June 2013 with faulty issues.
- stain on the cover (issue fixed - the shop asked me to wash it myself. Had to wash a few times till the stain disappear)
- legs supplied didn't match the instruction sheet
- the screws for attaching the legs were too short (issue fixed by supplying the new screws after 3-4 weeks
- there are several of times that the staffs said something like I should get someone else to assemble the bed when I stated the issues of what wrong with their bed. It made me feel like I am stupid have no idea how to assemble the bed
- legs for base were too long doesn't match the height of the outer frame
- one part of the base was welded incorrectly (90 degrees wrong way) ... they said they will organise the handyman or someone to fix the problem for me but this never happened. I even go around and search for one that can fixed the issue but Lewis emailed me said it's too expensive.
I went through consumer affair hoping they can help me sort this out but unfortunately they can't do anymore from me.
After Consumer Affair call them. 2 people (Leon - the owner and Steven) came over to my house in early October to inspect the issues and said that they will send the new legs and base approximately in 1 week time. I end up received the correct size legs at the end of November - 2 months after they came over - not 1 week)
I called them up and asked about the base, Lewis told me that I had to wait until they open a store in Melbourne after I have been waiting for over 5 months.
At the end the sent a new base over.... But not in the condition that I can except i.e. with water damage and mould (refer image on link below).
It has been 6 months but doesn't seem like they will make this easy for me based on their email response.
I paid for a fully functional bed, not a faulty one. I was expecting a decent service from the store. I really was thinking that buying products in Australia is a safer way to buy from overseas but it doesn't guarantee that to.
Note: Refund is not an option for me as I already paid $240 for freight which is not refundable plus they want me to send the bed back to them.
They said they have never had problem with their products and I was the first person who make a complain about their product. I also found out that I am not the only person how have problems with their product.
I hope my story would help people be aware if this store and the possible dangers of shopping online.
