Federal Xplora R/T

Live longer, don't buy Federal tyres – Tyre literally exploded on the open road. Travelling at 90kmh when it just exploded. Massive noise and truck nearly rolled. Tyre pressure only checked 40 kilometres prior, well under maximum load rating and smooth highway running. Tried to contact Federal in Australia - they are nowhere to be found. Nor are there tyres - dealers have them listed but not available. Little wonder. These tyres need to be banned permanently. They are dangerous. Only purchased them as they had a 2350kg load rating. We had 1950kg load. Vehicle behind likewise said they though a bomb had gone off. Felt like a front tyre and nearly rolled the truck. Lucky t o be alive
