Have to say that I have had an extremely disappointing experience after purchasing from Fernview Nurseries.
I purchased 25 lavender plants back on 09/02, but did not receive any sort of confirmation email or communication to let me know that my order had been received. I got in touch via email but didn't hear anything back - I had to phone up the company to confirm that my order had been processed. I would have been fine with the experience if it had ended here, as it was during COVID lockdowns and I understood that they were had a restricted ...operating capacity, however, 10 of my 25 lavender plants died within the first two days. I got in touch once again and was told replacements would be sent (05/03). I had to follow up three more times (23/03, 12/04, 10/05) and still have not received any replacements, and only received one response back on 24/03. I purchased these plants as tubestock to grow them out for a lavender hedge. I am now out 2 1/2 months of growth that I would've had on these plants, and only have enough to complete half the hedge/will have a very spotty hedge. To say I am disappointed is an understatement.
My plants were dispatched promptly and delivered by Australia Post on the fourth day after I ordered. They are larger than expected, well packed and very healthy so I am delighted.
Plants died replacements never came
I ordered 50 Pittosporum plants last year , they were delayed in delivery due to Lockdowns . I planted on receipt, plants were small but I had hopes for their survival as it was still cool in Perth and we still had rainfall. Unfortunately 44 of the plants died within a few days leaving me with 6. After contacting the nursery and sending requested photos etc I had the impression they did not believe me but I did receive a promise of replacement plants by telephone.
It's now been several months and I have received no contacts and no replacements , I have given up on this nursery.
Plants arrived within 3 days after their Christmas break holidays. Agapanthus were very healthy and much larger than I expected, great price too.
Tracking notifications were emailed at each stage, a must these days for online businesses in my opinion.

Very poor communication
I ordered plants - they promise they are shipped every sunday night - but no shipping notification and no updates for weeks. No answer when you call. No responses to various emails. About 3 weeks later i lodge paypal dispute. I then receive cancellation email from Fernview. I order replacement plants from local nursery. A week later i receive a shipping notification from fernview and (some?!) plants then arrive!? Rude customer service refuse to accept returns or issue refund.
There has been no receipt, order confirmation or any communication from the seller of any kind. I have tried making contact via their enquires email and contact number on the website i made the order from but phone rings out and no reply from the email. I went onto their facebook page but this has had no activity for the last 6 months. I dont think they exist anymore but have failed to deactivate their website.
25 out 45 dead plants on arrival
Contact was made from Fernview Nurseries and the issue is being rectified.
Ordered 45 rosemary plants on 09.09.2020 finally received plants on 01.10.2020. Tried to call 22.09.2020 to see where plants were... no answer, sent an email... no reply. Called again once the plants had arrived... no answer, sent an email... still waiting for a reply.
Ingenious delivery method. plants arrived in good condition, they are small but good quality and don't take long to catch up. You will save dollars, Happy customer in Brisbane QLD.
I ordered multiple plants and all arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Very impressed with this nursery & have now put in a 2nd order. Very reasonably priced too. Keep up the great work
VERY HAPPY ALL ROUND
Have only recently discovered Fernview Nursery and very impressed. They deliver down into Tasmania at a value for money price, and it arrives quickly on a Thursday following their Monday delivery service. The packaging system is excellent ensuring best quality transit conditions and to date have had zero losses. Plant quality so far is excellent with well established roots, stem and foliage, all in advanced growth for tubestock. All very healthy looking. The range of stock is pretty good and hopefully will expand. My experiences with Customer...Service have been excellent. My most recent purchase I called them early on Monday morning delivery day to request a change in one plant for both type and number. My amended order arrived on the Thursday exactly as I had wanted. Prices for the tubestock are also really good from my perspective. Can only be a very happy customer to date. They provide a highly useful plant tubestock delivery service for me down here.
I could not find much info about this company, but as I needed a large amount of gardenias and dutchbox to do my project properly and I live in WA, I decided to go for it.... and Im glad I did.
Well packed plants, and all arrived in good shape (even tho spent a week on transit).
The only thing comes to mind to improve would be a fact sheet of how to plant to give it the best start, but nothing that a little homework before planting wont fix it.

Disappointing prices hikes cheaper to buy where plants can be inspected first
Regular customer. Loved the convenience and price was great to reflect smaller plants. Then the price hikes came without warning. Would of been nice to know prices were going to rise so much cheaper to go to local nursery now for tubestock. Very disappointed I thought the idea was the plants were cheaper as they were smaller and brought sight unseen online rather than physically going into a store, which has higher overheads than mass produced tiny plants. Be buying my plants local now because of this. Prices hiked by 50cents per plant in a year. Lost my business.
Quick, well priced and easy, what more could you want
Bought a few times from Fernview Nurseries, they don't have a very large range, and what they do have comes in tube stock so they're pretty small plants.
On the first order it took like a week to come out and since there's no correspondence from them i thought my order was lost or something, but when i rang it was on its way. Both of the rosemary plants weren't in good shape but they have survived when i re-potted them into larger pots as putting them in the ground i don't believe would have survived. All the other plants doing well.
Second order came in 2 days and i was happy to find mostly looking healthy in the package and in good shape, I don't doubt that they will all survive and thrive.
Great quality plants, promptly received and expertly packed.
We are a regular on line plant purchaser and can highly recommend this nursery, in our experience, as one of the best.
Poor customer service
We have ordered from Fernview several times and never had a problem before. In November we ordered some more tube stock. When the order arrived, they had sent the wrong plants, some of them were damaged and had to be thrown away, and we were overcharged (they were advertising 5% off store wide but the discount was not applied at the online checkout). We took photos of the damaged plants and emailed them. We just wanted replacements and the correct plants. We heard nothing back. We have emailed 6 times but no response. We then posted a testimonial on their website saying that which they just took down.
Fernview Nurseries are perfect if they have the stock.
I purchased a large quantity of stock tube plants from Fernview.com.au. I received my order promptly and only had one plant die on me. However, part of my order was not in stock, 25 Lavender plants. I was advised that it would be on back order and delivered during September 2017. I have telephoned the company three times having waited patiently for over two months. To date now December, I am having trouble getting a refund for goods I never received. I have telephoned the company four times, they promise to ring me back, but never do. They alwa...ys say it has to go to management level, management are on holiday, or the lady in accounts is not in. I would only recommend this company if you check that stock is actually available prior to placing the order. As the prices are very cheap for stock tube, and I can tell you the 50 or so plants I did receive are all growing well despite one loss.

Hello i am using this avenue to ask if you are having technical issues with the website as i have been trying to order plants from Fernview for several days. When i am lucky enough to connect the site is only available for a few minutes before i loose connection and message reads 'refused to connect.' Before i lost connection today i tried to login and message said my email or password was incorrect although it has been saved. Advice please kind regards elly
