First time ordering - 20 tube stock plants - ordered Friday they shipped Monday - received Wednesday - Vic to Sydney - just damp but happy little plants - longer timeframes and they could have been a little stressed particularly on hot summer days. Overall - thank you very happy

 Follow-up  · Once again, I have received my second convovulus order from Fernview, and I cannot fault the condition of the tube stock, packaging nor timely delivery - I am notified of the delivery times which is crucial as my home faces west with no realistic low sun area to place delivery items. Many thanks

Plants arrived in Melbourne promptly , well hydrated, with good root balls but looking a little hungry. That was easily fixed. 67 plants and no failures. Pretty happy about that.

Long time customer very disappointed in the service I have received. Ordered plants late last year and they were so dry some had come out of their pots and dead. The other plants I repotted straight away. I let Fernview know and sent photos and they offered to replace some. At least 4 times I have had to remind them still nothing.

Terrible customer service - dead plants and Fernview appear not to care – I ordered 18 lavender plants on 3 November. Dispatched 18/11. They were dead on arrival after some 3 weeks in the post. I contacted Fernview and sent a photo. Numerous calls later there has still been no resolution. I am always told the person who deals with these issues is not there and will call back but this never happens. This has been going on for a month now and it may be time to take it further.

Excellent customer service for over 20 years – Shopping at Fernview since they first opened. Packed so well, plants are healthy & tough. I usually get them planted straight away water well for a few weeks, as they are mainly Correas they thrive very little water. Tube size is perfect they develop good root system.

Customer service failure – I orded 100 lavander plants of fernview plus 25 Box plants. There was a delay in recieving them so I tried to contact Fernview. After multiple attempts I finally got hold of a person who told me that they only transport once a week. bone dry and wilted. The Box were ok but still dry. I told our gardener to get them in the ground straight away after giving them a bit of water. of course 95% of them died. When I relayed this to Fernview the response was that I had over watered them and that it was my problem. But they were planted on a hill with no drainage issues. I sent them a further email that they haven't even bothered to reply to. Very poor. The only mistke I made was not taking photos before planting.

PLANTS NOT SENT – No response to emails, phone calls, or facebook, their site states waiting on e-lable or on hold, after you open a case with your bank they send your items . See attachments purchased 13/6/23 still on hold 27/6/23.

Total Perfection – My plant order of 26 tubestock arrived today. Very nicely grown healthy plants which are ready to be planted out so they can get going ! The plants were very neatly and snugly packed with not even a speck of loose potting mix, and all in excellent condition. Many thanks for excellent plants and attention to detail. Doug.

I got an email saying that $5 has been refunded but when I asked them about the details I dint get a respond. one called. I tried this 3 times. When the plants arrived few of them looked really bad. I repotted them but unfortunately 7 of them died the next day. Again I emailed them with all the pictures but did not get any response. I even messaged them on facebook. I could see that the messages were seen but nobody cared to respond. The other plants have survived and are looking good. Thats the only plus point I got from this. They have a terrible customer service and if your plants die dont even bother to contact them.

Perfectly packaged Plants – I ordered a bulk order of Korean Box and a couple of other plants and I was so impressed with the beautiful packaging to keep them happy on their travels across the country. All plants were healthy and a good size for tubestock and are doing well in my garden. Thank you! The price was good too. well they were packaged. They were nested very securely in a moulded cardboard tray with polystyrene collars to hold in the soil - which also meant such little pots arrived still moist. I thought every plant a generous size for tube stock, with very healthy growth and roots and not a single one was damaged. I found the communication really good, with several very prompt and clear email confirmations. I think it's really tough on small businesses trying to get online orders to people at the moment with delays and lockdown everywhere, they really have no control once the goods leave their premises - and how much more difficult with plants! - but my package arrived only two days after it was processed and posted. Thank you Aust Post. I'm amazed although I'm sure the little plants would have lasted even a few more days with no distress. I will most definitely buy from Fernview again, thank you so much staff!

Poor communication – Have to say that I have had an extremely disappointing experience after purchasing from Fernview Nurseries. I purchased 25 lavender plants back on 09/02, but did not receive any sort of confirmation email or communication to let me know that my order had been received. I got in touch via email but didn't hear anything back - I had to phone up the… Read more

company to confirm that my order had been processed. I would have been fine with the experience if it had ended here, as it was during COVID lockdowns and I understood that they were had a restricted operating capacity, however, 10 of my 25 lavender plants died within the first two days. I got in touch once again and was told replacements would be sent (05/03). I had to follow up three more times (23/03, 12/04, 10/05) and still have not received any replacements, and only received one response back on 24/03.

I purchased these plants as tubestock to grow them out for a lavender hedge. I am now out 2 1/2 months of growth that I would've had on these plants, and only have enough to complete half the hedge/will have a very spotty hedge. To say I am disappointed is an understatement.

Absolutely Fabulous! – Plants arrived within 3 days after their Christmas break holidays. Agapanthus were very healthy and much larger than I expected, great price too. 25 out 45 dead plants on arrival – UPDATE 14.10.2020 Contact was made from Fernview Nurseries and the issue is being rectified. Ordered 45 rosemary plants on 09.09.2020 finally received plants on 01.10.2020. Tried to call 22.09.2020 to see where plants were... no answer, sent an email... no reply. Called again once the plants had arrived... no answer, sent an email... still waiting for a reply.

with well established roots, stem and foliage, all in advanced growth for tubestock. All very healthy looking. The range of stock is pretty good and hopefully will expand. My experiences with Customer Service have been excellent. My most recent purchase I called them early on Monday morning delivery day to request a change in one plant for both type and number. My amended order arrived on the Thursday exactly as I had wanted. Prices for the tubestock are also really good from my perspective. Can only be a very happy customer to date. They provide a highly useful plant tubestock delivery service for me down here.

Update for December 2021 - 55 tubestock ordered and all arrived safe and well. The postal service is slower in this regulated environment - about 4 days slower for me from Fernview. There is more chance for something to go wrong with the plants with the longer post time. But the packaging is so good that whatever soil spills from a few of the tubes can be put back in with no problem. The key to these tubes is to get them out of the box quickly, place them upright in the sun somehow - I just place lots of them in a large pot - and then give them a very good drink of water. If it is going to take a few days before they are planted place the tubes in sun but not strong afternoon sun. Keep the tubes regularly watered. I ordered 55 Nandina domestica nana and now have 55 plants in the ground. Good sized plants with good established root system. Only a few were a bit smaller than the majority.

Very happy with the Fernview service. I think it is great.

Disappointing prices hikes cheaper to buy where plants can be inspected first – Regular customer. Loved the convenience and price was great to reflect smaller plants. Then the price hikes came without warning. Would of been nice to know prices were going to rise so much cheaper to go to local nursery now for tubestock. unseen online rather than physically going into a store, which has higher overheads than mass produced tiny plants. Be buying my plants local now because of this. Prices hiked by 50cents per plant in a year. Lost my business.

plants weren't in good shape but they have survived when i re-potted them into larger pots as putting them in the ground i don't believe would have survived. All the other plants doing well. Second order came in 2 days and i was happy to find mostly looking healthy in the package and in good shape, I don't doubt that they will all survive and thrive.

Poor customer service – We have ordered from Fernview several times and never had a problem before. In November we ordered some more tube stock. When the order arrived, they had sent the wrong plants, some of them were damaged and had to be thrown away, and we were overcharged (they were advertising 5% off store wide but the discount was not applied at the online… Read more

for over two months. To date now December, I am having trouble getting a refund for goods I never received. I have telephoned the company four times, they promise to ring me back, but never do. They always say it has to go to management level, management are on holiday, or the lady in accounts is not in. I would only recommend this company if you check that stock is actually available prior to placing the order. As the prices are very cheap for stock tube, and I can tell you the 50 or so plants I did receive are all growing well despite one loss.
