Beware of the glass top! – The product looks good, but beware the glass is not particularly hardy. I dropped a small pot on the edge and it shattered all across the entire cooktop. Cooking involves pots and other hard bits of metal - the manufacturer should either not sell this product or make it hardier.
Glass top cracks very easily – Very disappointed with this cook top. I dropped a very small cup onto the corner of one of the glass panels and it shattered the whole panel. The cook top was only a few months old, and because the breakage was my fault the repair wasn't covered under warranty. breakage reoccurring. Also, it is very hard to keep the black glass clean, it always shows up smudgy no matter what cleaning products are used. In hindsight I'm sorry I didn't go with a stainless steel model. Fisher and Paykel customer service not very helpful either.
