Looks Great But Its Just a Gas Stove in the End – Been using the F&P CG604DX1 on LPG for 6 months and its a gas stove and it does what a gas stove does. It looks great, its looks are probably the biggest selling point. It gives our new kitchen a more premium feel. this. It took a lot of practise to get pots & pans centred over the burner. The shape of the grates make it hard to find the centre. The burners light easily, but as safety feature you have to hold the igniter down for longer than feels natural. So you often release the igniter before the burner is ready to stay lit. Biggest issue with stove is even at the lowest setting the burners are very hot. And by about halfway through the span of the dial it is at full power. If you are not paying full attention it is very easy to have the flame much higher than you expect. The gas knobs feel great to use though, they have nice weight to their movement and very smooth. Overall I'm happy with the stove, if I was buying again I would probably look at less expensive stove. It looks great but from a functional point of view doesn't do anything different or better than a cheaper model.
