Fisher & Paykel 90cm Gas on Steel Cooktop CG905DX1

Be nice to get a response from Customer Service – Nice looking product and easy to clean once hobbs are lifted off, but burns so hot that any cooking is a trial to avoid burning - can't even simmer potatoes - they boil over even when on lowest setting on smallest element. Can't get support at F&P customer support line - 5 hours to call back one day - promised they would ring up later in day to resolve - no call back. Waited on queue for almost 2 hours the next day - no answer. Tried their purchase line and got answered in 2 minutes - see where their priorities are. No local service agent for gas appliances either!
