Not good – This is a very average dishwasher with quite a few flaws. The top rack can’t be filled because covering the back prevents it from locking into the water spray. Also don’t place glasses in the corners on the lower rack because they won’t get washed. We find only the intensive wash setting is effective and finally the final drying can be super hot so be aware of burn risks. It’s noisy and the bottom rack constantly slides off its rails.

Well this unit is DEAD, won't do the job any more – Funny how we only did a review a month or 2 ago and than NOTHING its died won't heat up water and won't pump cold water so we are going to remove it from the cabinetry and find a new home for it at the recycling centre, sadly the people who Make these things waste so much resources in the manufacturer of these machines but there made to a price… Read more

tag, demanded by the people who badge their names on the front. Im wondering when the name brand owners will step up take more control in the quality in how their made as its their name that is associated with the end result, yes theres a profit margin to be made and maintained but more importantly is a CUSTOMER retention meaning right now who's brand do I buy as a replacement and the idea is well their all crap so why pay top dollar for the short life span of these products, remembering that its not going to last 10 years...I might do some research on where they are made and for my own curiosity look at margins and come back here and post up what ive found.

Puts more dirt on your dishes than was originally on them – Deeply Disappointed!! I have had 2 Fisher & Paykel dishwashers over the years one was the 2 draw and this one both where and are a total waste of time, I clean the dishwasher filter etc, run a Finish dishwasher cleaner through it regularly, I use Fairy Platnum plus and need to put dishes is several times and then i have to wash them by hand as… Read more

they are gritty and have food scraps all over them. I do not recommend this brand at all every one of their appliances i have bought are substandard do not do what they are supposed too and are not fit for purpose.

Great, until the warranty runs out! – I was totally satisfied with this machine for 25 months. Just after the 2 year warranty expired the seals leaked. Had them replaced. One week later the element went. A call out fee to have a representative just look at the machine is $150.00, then add the cost of replacement parts and another call out, makes repairs extremely expensive. I doubt that I would purchase another Fisher Paykel appliance. Show details

Ridiculous, standard dinner plate placed in rack catch on the centre spray arm – Terrible Can’t but dinner plates in any area because the centre spray arm hits the plate and doesn’t wash properly. when plate place long ways on edges the soap dispenser door can’t open. Poor design, all the rackes are to close and it doesn’t allow for dinner plates to lean. Disappointing. Worst design ever. I feel sorry for my landlord who paid for this machine to be installed. Very unhappy renter.  Show details

Extremely disappointed – Paid $988 and it didn't last 3 years. The motor stopped, and it's too expensive to repair, we will have to replace it, definitely not with another Fisher and Paykel. Show details

Highly Recommended! – This is our third F&P dishwasher in 30 years. We always connect to the hot water supply which reduces power costs and improves wash quality. By the time you rinse and stack, the hot water is through from the tank and you turn on the machine. 30 mins later - sparkling clean dishes! Show details

Excellent Value with consistent results – Highly recommended. We could have spent much more but decided to choose an almost entry level dishwasher and we have loved this little machine. We are not conservative, a family of 3, coffee every other hour, a new utensil at every opportunity - the dishwasher gets used every day. After mandatory pre rinsing and loading sensibly, it's a two… Read more

button operation and 90 minutes later - perfectly clean dishes, sparkling glassware and cutlery. No need for rinse aid. I have cleaned the main filter twice in 3 years.

We love the pause function if you have forgotten something and the adjustable pegs to better place large pans in the lower basket. We always make sure that the arms can rotate.

We use Finish tablets and never overload - allowing space between the dishes for water access. This is very important and often overlooked. If you can't see space between the dishes, then how will water get through?

We have saved so much water compared to hand washing and our dishes are the cleanest they have ever been, even underneath in the grooves!

you better buy extended warranty with this one – piece of rubbish that lasted less than two and a half years and then the computer failed. too expensive to repair so we will be replacing the dishwasher with a more reliable brand. Show details

Brilliant Dishwasher – Bought two weeks ago from Good Guys. Use every day. Dishes wonderfully clean and dry. Very easy to use. Love the extra sliding utensil tray in the top basket that holds sharp knives and ladles. So much more extra room than our last dishwasher. Display shows how long cycle goes for as well. Show details

Can’t live without it – Easy to use, easy to clean, never had an issue with it. Love the layout of it, we literally use it every second day. I wouldn’t buy any other brand

Dont buy it- error messages and floods the house – Dishwasher installed yesterday by professional installer. On start up there was error message f30, then F40. It could not be reset or operated. . It needed a f & P service call apparently. iInitially i was told that the pumps are tested as they leave the factory but settle in the warehouse then are jammed and dont work on install. Within 5 minutes… Read more

of the installer leaving the house/kitchen , the kitchen was flooded and then the bedroom underneath- saturating the bedding. Reviews have told me this model is awful. Im returning it. Error messages are inconvenient and time wasting but house flooding is serious and expensive to rectify. Avoid this model. A loose leaf insert in the product box warned that the detergent lid would hit dinner plates packed in front which automatically reduced row packing by 50%. terrible design for a family product.

6 Months So Far So Good – Have previously owned more expensive dishwashers and ended up disappointed on the life span of such exspensive brands decided to try a cheaper more basic machine and so far have been impressed with its capabilities of washing the dishes. I do not pre rinse my dishes they come out clean and dry every time on the 90 minute cycle. I am also empressed… Read more

with the quietness of the machine as having a shift worker in the house that is important. My only dissapointment is the interior racking feels very flimsy and the basket to hold the cutlery is very small and I have trouble fitting my cutlery in it.

Good Family Dishwasher – This is an easy to use machine that works well. We did initially have trouble fitting the larger plates in - the top arm would hit them and we were not happy about this, but we since learned there are two levels in which the top tray can sit and it comes out of the factory at the lower level. Once we read the instructions on how to adjust it… Read more

(which was simple) we moved it up and we can now fit quite long/large items in without an issue. The eco wash runs for a very long time, so we don't tend to run it on that setting. If it ran for less time, we would use it all the time. Overall though, it is an easy to use machine and all of the dishes always come out sparkling clean.

A great workhorse, reliable and efficient – I am so happy with the dishwasher that I decided to write a review about it. It is a great workhorse, reliable and efficient, has multiple cycles depending on your needs and what impresses me the most the eco fast cycle is only 40 minutes. Is save me electricity every day and I love it, so stylish and easy to clean with its stainless steel design and would recommend it.  Show details

Absolutely hate it – After 21 years of owning an Asko dishwasher ( which eventually died) we decided to buy middle of the line as we are downsizing, so purchased a F & P. Very bad decision, it is quiet and it dries dishes, but I continually need to rewash even though I make sure dishes are scraped prior to loading, The tray that fits on the top, seems a good idea, but I don't use it, again, utensils don't wash properly.  Show details

Energy efficient and has many cycles – We are happy with the dishwasher, it is not the first dishwasher that we have purchased from Fisher & Paykel and they did a good job on this one again. We are glad that it is energy efficient as we run it every day and twice on the weekends for a family of 4. It has a different layout what we had before and took some time to get to used to the new one. However, it is fast and our dishes are clean and shiny even with the cheapest detergent.  Show details

Great results but reliability? – It cleans well and does a very good job. Quiet and efficient. Unfortunately we've had 3 failures... Twice the Buttons have not been responding and needed repairs/replacement. This seems like a common issue with this model and even now they can be a bit erratic to operate at times. Recently the Motor failed. On all occasions the repairs have… Read more

been performed promptly and professionally in our home.

They also replaced the cutlery basket for us which had broken due to sharp knives slicing through the mesh on the base.

Great dishwasher – So far this dishwasher is excellent. It is very quite. Dishes have been coming out clean and dry. No problems with tablets not dissolving or anything like that, love love love the cutlery draw and the fact that you can move it off to the side so your wine glasses can fit!  Show details

Great dishwasher with fast eco cycle – I love this dishwasher, It has a very fast eco cycle and I can complete a full load of dishes in 35 minutes. I also noticed that if I keep using rinse aid, all the dishes are amazing, shiny and dry just after the wash. I do not need to wait until they become dry and can pretty much straight away unload everything back into the cupboard.  Show details

Love this dishwasher – We had a FP dish drawer which broke down, through no fault of its own, something random got caught under the rotor which wore a hole in the tub and the electrics flooded. We replaced it with a Westinghouse which went back after 2 days, faulty from the start. I decided to give this FP a try and I’m so happy I did. It’s one of the best dishwashers… Read more

I’ve ever owned. It’s not unlike a dish drawer in that I can pack everything in the top rack including cutlery. The cutlery tray in the top slides across for easy access. It’s quiet, quick and very efficient, the dishes are spotless in no time at all, about 30 mins. I’d highly recommend it after 3 weeks use. I’ve had 2 other FP dish drawers in other houses which are still going strong after 15 and 8 years.

Reliable and lots of space for everything – For me, it took some time to get used to my new dishwasher and I still get confused what to put where, as the cutlery draw is on the top and very unconventional. I bought it online and did not go to the store to check it out. I wish that I should have done it and would think twice before committing myself to buy online again. The dishwasher is quite loud and I cannot hear the TV when it is on and need to increase TV volume.  Show details

Much better that expected – I am very happy with this dishwasher. It is very efficient, washes well, drains the dishes well and the shortest eco cycle is perfect for everyday use. I can have everything washed in under 40 minutes. My previous dishwasher's shortest cycle was just over 1 hour! Big improvement in both quality of wash and duration!  Show details
