I always had mine on 4. But sometimes it takes a long time until fridges "calm down", I don't know why. Now I have my fridge a bit towards the "warmer side of things" and it is working well... :)

Hi, have you figured it out? First of all, unplug the fridge. then take out the food to have room. use hand to search for the lamp and turn anti clockwise to unscrew it (my fridge doesn't have a plastic cover, if yours still has, flip it open I think). you can take a photo using your phone to see clearly from behind. Go to Bunnings to buy E14 15W bulb to replace ($4).Turn on the fridge to check. Be careful with the power.

Have the same problem with the door alarm..How do you disconnect it

I would love to know how to disconnect it too... I HATE it.. beeping at me while I am struggling to put all the groceries away ... having to open and close the door constantly. gggrrr good in theory but not practical. I want to disconnect the beep!

check the seals around your fridge door. I have a larger 500ish litre upside down model, and when the seal on the bottom of the top/fridge door slips out of its groove, it blocks the sensor path or something similar and it goes off when closed.

is opened. It turns off when the door is closed.

2.11 Fault Alarm

If the control module detects a FAULT, which it is unable to recover, an alarm is

sounded. The alarm only comes on when the PC door is opened. The numbers of

beeps indicate the fault code. (Refer to a F&P service technician)

If the door is closed, the alarm discontinues until the door is opened again.

3.2 To Disable a Fault Alarm

Turn the variable resistor (control knob) fully clockwise and then fully anticlockwise

within 5 seconds. (record the fault code....)

3.3 To Manually Force a Defrost

While pushing in the light switch knob, turn the variable resistor (control knob) fully

clockwise and then fully anticlockwise within 10 seconds.

Put tape over the knob near where the door touches when u shut the door which turns off the light. I read on the "fixit" site that doing that stops all the beeping but your fridge light won't work. But I dare say the answer from the other person will give a detailed way to fix the problem properly but....If you need it quiet, try this.... It said it worked! Good luck! I'm now the proud owner of one of these little fridges and gee, I hope it doesn't make a lot of noise.... Or, it's going to "get the tape"!!
