Less than 3 years old, 2 major parts replaced under warranty & now motor blows just out of warranty – Worst machine ever. Had to purchase a front load machine due to the layout of our new home so went with the Fisher & Paykel WH70F60WV1 (7kg). I've never had a front loader or Fisher & Paykel appliance before so this was a big test. What an epic fail. Not great at cleaning clothes unless they're pre soaked / sprayed before wash Spin cycle is… Read more

poor & majority of the time they need re-spinning.

Very loud spin.

6 months old it stopped working. Took a week for a Fisher & Paykel service rep to check it. Tried to blame me but ended up being a faulty pump. Had to wait another week for the part to be ordered then replaced.

18 months old it stopped working again. 10 days for a Fisher & Paykel service rep to check it. Again another issue with the pump.

32 months old it's stopped working again. Took a week for a Fisher & Paykel service rep to check it. Motor has gone. Now no longer under warranty I have been quoted $475 + gst for part & $135 for call out to replace it.

I'm absolutely furious. We're doing it really tough as it is but also with 2 kids, a newborn & now either having to fork out more than the machine was new to replace 1 part when it's not even 3 years old. WORST MACHINE / COMPANY / SERVICE TO DEAL WITH. NEVER AGAIN Fisher & Paykel.

October 4th 2016 Update: 4 years old, 6 major repairs required. Used to love Fisher & Paykel, now never again.

Not quite 4 years old and already 6 major repairs required. 2 new motors, new belt, new drum, faulty parts. Always 2-3 week turn around with service too so an extremely frustrating machine and company to deal with.

I used to love Fisher & Paykel products, they lasted years but I'll never touch them ever again. Faulty washer, dryer & dishwasher all the same age. Previous ones we had more than 10 years no issues ever.

So surprised they had been rated so highly by reputable testers. Don't waste your money on them.

Gave up spinning clothes then died completely – Similar to other reviews, this machine stopped spinning clothes and had to be put on an extra spin cycle. Eventually it started leaking randomly. Cleaned pipes as per instructions. No improvement. Eventually it ceased working. Washed ok for the first year, but nothing to write home about. 4 years old, expected more.

Good machine gets the job done well – Does a great job, quiet, sturdy, have owned it for 3 years now and hasnt skipped a beat. If the wife is happy it must be good. used almost daily as we have kids and pets. good quality material used during production and the little extra we pay takes us a long way. delivers Good clean washes, efficient reliable.

good machine – I bought this machine 3 months ago, I am very happy with it, It washes even the big doona's with no problems. It is very quite and washes really well. It has a very quick was of 38 min, which is great for the mid week kids uniform washing. I also have noticed that the clothes come out almost dry so drying time is cut down alot. inexpensive, energy efficient, good amount of different cycles

Fantastic washing machine and great value for money – We purchased this machine as we were moving house and the new laundyry required a front load machine. With all the expenses that comes with building and moving house, I was looking for a reliable brand of washing machine, with good water consumption and at a reasonable prie. This definetely 'ticks' all the boxes. It's easy to use -… Read more

although I tend to stick to my 3 washing functions eventhough there is a heap of others to choose from.

Can't fault it! :) Reliable, well priced and good water consumption
