I think all you need is the swinging function, in fact I don't even bother to use the music. It is large and I have had to re-tighten the screws at the back once but I haven't had the problem with cords falling out that other reviewers have had. Now that my son is heavier (about 7kg at 3 months old), the poor chair does seem to strain a bit and make a bit more creaky noises as it rocks but this doesn't seem to worry him and the chair base doesn't move at all. I don't know what I would have done without it - he certainly loves sleeping in his Iglide over his cot and I am dreading when he reaches the weight limit!! AC adaptor (not just batteries), changes position with tilting seat and able to go front or side ways, machine washable cover. Strains as you near the weight limit but at 7kg is still working well.

Fantastic it's a life saver – Ok there are positive and negatives about this item but the positives out weigh the negatives. Seat comfortable hugs around baby good for entertaining or sleeping. Entertained by mirror above. Very good if baby fall asleep in arms and u put them in it the still have that movement motion witch I found fantastic baby stays asleep when transferring. Oh and love that its batteries or power point optional Typ of music options of movement deep seat softness restraints entertainment mirror above all bottoms at feet so when hands full easy to operate. Music should go longer. Baby always woke when music stopped. Cord connections some times if knocked come lose and won't work have to go around checking all connections are connected for it to work. Dosnt happen often though. The motor is noisy and squeaks a bit sounds like worn out but not. If touch why swinging it slows down u have to give it a little push to get it moving again.

Very impressed – This swing is currently my lifesaver. Bubba is very spewy, so i love being able to strap her in and chose between swing or glide, and she gets some rest while i do too! She seems very content in the swing and the music is actually soothing! I cant imagine life without purchasing this amazing swing! Reclines, glides, chose either side to side or front to back movements, pretty mobile, 5 point harness Seems a tad unstable

Not too bad – Got this as a gift and it was good when we first used it. After a few weeks the connections at the back started to unclip and it would stop working or it just wouldn't start. Now it sounds as the whole thing is about to fall apart as my daughter is closer to the weight limit. No need for batteries, good functions and music connectors keep unplugging and not stable

awesome product when it worked – this was a sleep saver in the beginning bubba would love to be rocked was to impressed with the slide function. the sound and music was great to send him off the sleep or the entertain him while i had a shower as a newborn. sometimes the rocking part wouldn't work not sure what happened there but if you swing it a bit it would start working again.… Read more

the mobile was very cute but he didn't play with it much until he was older. the rocking was great and the slide was boring. the music and mobile was lovely. $$$$ major dollars. and sometimes the rocking movement didn't work
