Useful and a bit of a sanity-saver – I bought this after learning that these types of battery-operated rockers exist. We were going through the first few months at home with a newborn and really this was a sanity-saver for both mum and bub. It's attractive and not too loud in this colour scheme. It has several functions, rocking, vibrating and music, which can be used with or… Read more
without each other. It has 5 rocking speeds and I didn't notice much difference between them. I found even the lowest speed a little fast until baby got used to it. You can hand-rock until they get used to the battery-operated action and speed. My baby was literally a little frightened of it at first. Nonetheless I think overall these are a brilliant idea. Great idea in the first few months Outgrow it quite fast. Different size batteries in one side to the other.
Free up mummy's hands! – We got this swing second hand and it's fantastic! When bubs is so alert and aware, but you need to put him somewhere safe while you get a few things done around the house....this is the perfect solution. Here are a few notes from my experience with this swing: The padding is removable to be washed. I don't feel the padding is very comfy… Read more
though so I put a couple of swaddle/wraps in it to add some cushioning.
The swing comes with seat belts but honestly, I never used them :-/ The swing doesn't swing very high when bub is about 6 kilos +!
There's a little toy that hangs overhead. It can be moved out of the way if you don't want it sitting in front of bubs the whole time.
There are handles on the side so you can easily move the swing around.
It's a bit low so watch your backs when you put bubs in and take bubs out!!
Comes with 2 or 3 songs but bubs takes no notice really.
Comes with multiple speeds and vibrations. We always had the speed on max (due to heavy bub) and the vibrations is novelty. We don't use the vibrations very often.
You need two type of batteries for this swing. Sorry I forgot which types. But you need one type for the swing/music and another for the vibrations. Kept Bub happy, hands-free mum, safe, multiple speeds, vibrations, music, hanging toy that's movable, handles allow you to move the swing easily Very low so you'll have to bend over to put bub down or pick bub up, padding isn't very thick
