Charge 4 will not sync via Bluetooth - product almost unusable – - I have been a Fitbit user for years. - My new Charge 4 was a replacement when the Charge 3 stopped working. - New Charge 4 will not sync via Bluetooth. I have to reset the device and re-pair it to try and force it to sync. - Forcing a sync means all the data is lost - making the product redundant. - Fitbit support is available but all the fixes… Read more

just tell me to force a reset. - The underlying issue where the sync is not working appears to affect any mobile device - both android and iphone users are affected when you check the fitbit community boards. - Very frustrating issue - expensive product that does not work. - After years of being a fitbit user I will be swapping to Garmin. - Fitbit is a great product but known software bugs are not addressed and users are left frustrated and angry (again, many many comments from users about this on the fitbit site).

Horrible crap – this is a horrible piece of crap. please stay away and save your money. it is unreliable, heartrate sensor is way off with reliability, even pedometer is unreliable. on top of that the band keeps pealing. it is slowly disintegrating. Show details

Another fitbit dud – Purchased fitbit alta first of all. Lost that due to faulty band common with this model before they changed it to a buckle strap.unfortunately before the strap change, hubby replaced it with another alta that was a lemon, didnt retain charge for longer than half day. I should have thought about switching brands altogether, however a friend had… Read more

the hr model and originally endorsed it, so i put useless alta in a drawer, never used again. At first hr was good, for about 6 mths. Then as my friend and i discovered, the charge did not last 24rs at all, going flat at inconvenient times, away from charger.

I have literally spent hundreds on this brand only to be repeatedly disappointed. Do not endorse any models, except the scales, when i can get them to sync.

Buy another brand and avoid fitbit.

Nice fitness tracker – I have had it for quite a while. It is very professional looking and it makes stretching and working out more exciting. The heart beat feature is also pretty cool. It comes in many colours including purple and black. I will definitely recommend it to people who want to keep track of their steps.  Show details

It's quite useful and good replacement to watch – it's trendy and the sleek display area is good especially when we want not too much going on the wrist area and is quite functional in letting us know the steps and motivating us and also the heartrate is continuously monitored .Found it as a must have for any one  Show details

Good start but not the best – I've had my fitbit for more than three years. It was a good purchase when i bought it however now it would be a bit outdated. The underside where the charger connects to the fitbit cracked however it was solved with some superglue. Overall not a bad fitness tracker .  Show details

Multiple issues sync with android phone app – I have this watch for many years and it doesn't work properly wit Android. I have changed from Iphone to Oppo and the app can't sync at time. Every time I tried to sync I have to delete the device from the app and re start again. Great and small model but it's frustrating when sync. Also, Fitbit had to change my watch for a brand new as the battery band was made incorrect.  Show details

False and misleading – Box says compatible with android, iOS and windows. Doesn't say only some or check list on our site for compatible devices. Have 3 android devices in our house 2 phones and a tablet.Only connects with one phone and doesn't work fully. Won't display phone notifications. Also it syncs for several weeks then you have to pair it again.  Show details

The band is terrible – I bought super on sale at Officeworks (price mix up with non-hr version). Within 6 months the band came unglued and pulled back, eventually failing. Fitbit was good and sent a replacement, but the band also failed in about 6 months. Fitbit did replace this as well, even though it was out of warranty. The third device took ~6 months to arrive… Read more

(backlog) and i had to settle for a different colour (orange instead of black). The band on this device also came loose after ~6 months. I've glued it back down, but it doesn't work very well.

Also, the bluetooth call notifications quit working with android 8, an issue that was not resolved (fitbit knows about the issue, but is unwilling/unable to provide a fix).

Band coming apart – Well ive not used my fitbit as much as i should, but that's because i personally don't love wearing it to bed and often forget to put it on in the morning so i was surprised to see it already coming apart. I like what functions the fitbit has and have enjoyed using it. However i will think twice about spending $200 on one again.  Show details

Very very disappointing, would never recommend to anyone – I was delighted with this product when I received it as a gift in Dec 2015. Perfect for my needs. After a year (co incidentally just after warranty expired) a bubble started forming under the wristband where it meets the face of the Fitbit. The strap then starting pulling away from the face of the fitbit. I emailed Fitbit customer service,… Read more

they sent me a new one, even though it was just outside the warranty period. Within a year the very same thing started happening. Customer service advised that the warranty started from purchase of the first Fitbit in Dec 2015. I was only entitled to 25% off the purchase of another Fitbit. No way am I going to throw away good money after bad. Very disappointed as the functionality of the product suits me. Customer service is excellent. But it all boils down to a badly manufactured product. There must be 1000's of people having the same problem with Customer service sending out replacement units so frequently. Amazed that this product is still being sold. They've made no effort to sort out the continuous recurring problems. I'm going to have to buy a different brand sports watch. Goodbye Fitbit. I would never recommend this product to anyone, unless they want to throw away money.

Great to start with but not great quality – I had one of these for less than a year before it started to fall apart. I loved it before this happened and it was really wonderful. Then the rubber peeled away and the watch stopped charging fully. I was able to take it back to Harvey Norman and they gave me the credit towards a new product.  Show details

Love it – It is very good and reliable product I don’t have any problem using it. It helps me to see my heart rate which I hope is accurate. However I find the straps is not very easy to clean ( I got the mint green one) as I am wearing it everywhere. I would choose the black one next time.Overall I am happy with my purchase  Show details

A lot of money to spend for it ro last 8 months – I loved the fitbit charge hr. My first died after 8 months and was replaced under warranty. Battery went flat couldn't resurrect it. My replacement lasted, guess what, 8 months. After much toing and froing they replace this one too but with a 30 day warranty. Last week after 8 months my third fitbit died. My experience, 3 fitbits, none lasting more than 8 months, don't waste your money on a good idea extremely poorly executed.  Show details

Always uses – I have a charge hr I really like how I can see my heart rate. I have the heart rate monitor on auto and the battery life lasts for close to a week. I find this device really useful. I just wish the notification bluetooth pairing always works, sometimes it doesn’t, but not a big problem.  Show details

It's a really good product – This is a really good product. It accurately measures your heart rate, steps and other health information. I found the sleep measurement function to be unusual and highly inaccurate. However, overall this is a useful device to tell the time and keep a measure of your exercise levels during the work week. It's set and forget. Plus there's a cool… Read more

Charge HR performance – Battery performance of charge HR is very poor. It gets drain very quickly. It also take longer time to get fully charged. Many times it becomes unresponsive. fitbit service is also not satisfactory as they always suggest to re-install the application and set up again to solve the problem. I would strongly recommend not to buy fitbit charge HR  Show details

I like it but can't last for years – The second product I got from from Fitbit brand. I like the Heart Rate Monitor function even though I'm not a regular runner. I use it to monitor my health and track my walk. It worked nicely for eight months, but then the button and the back cover starts to fall off and I had to glue it on. Also never drain the battery, otherwise it may be hard to get it back charged again.  Show details

Really motivates you – Really motivates you to walk or take the stairs instead of driving or taking the elevator. Just little things but you always think about taking the more active road so your step count increases, especially since you can set goals and stuff. Fantastic battery/tracking although not waterproof – The battery life on the Fitbit Charge HR is great, easily lasts a few days. The monitoring is quite accurate and I really love that it also comes with a heart rate monitor. OK tracker but bad band design – First Charge HR stopped working without warning after a couple of months, got a refund and purchased a new one. Second Charge HR worked fine but after a few months the band started lifting slightly around the edges. By six months it was unwearable. Contacted Fitbit and they sent a replacement. Now using with a third party cover and hoping for the best.  Show details

Good value entry level heart rate fitness band – Overall I'm pretty satisfied with the Charge HR. The small screen will display basic things like heart rate and time. The app mind you will provide you with in depth reporting with things such as sleep, calories burnt, exercise time etc. If you're into fitness and running/swimming my only criticism is it's not waterproof and lack of GPS. Great Fitness Tracker – Bought these through a work promotion so I did get them at a heavily reduced price but that aside it is a fantastic product! Works seamlessly with no lag and syncs effectively with my phone so I can see everything at any time. Also looks pretty cool too so it can replace your watch!  Show details

Fitbit the sidekick for a productive workout – This device keeps me on track when I am working out. Great functionality but not very robust – I love the functionality of this product and the information it provides. It keeps me on track with my fitness goals. However, I've needed my product replaced twice. The first one stopped syncing and the second seemed to be inaccurate and the band broke. Both times the manufacturer was really helpful and organised a replacement one as it was still in the warranty period.  Show details

Gets the job done – I got this for christmas in 2015- it gets the job done but freaks out any time the firmware is not up to date and does take too long to sync. The fitbit interface is not the easiest to use either but the step counter is fairly accurate and I feel the heart rate monitor to be quite accurate also. Relatively comfortable on the wrist. It used to hold two days charge, now I have to charge it every night if I want to use it the next day.  Show details

Terrible quality especially for Aus weather – I have spoke to a few other friends in different Asia country, seems like they all have problem with their Fitbit band will start to wear after 9 months, I’ve exchanged 2 times now and my 3rd one have just died two weeks ago. It’s just a joke. Their customer service is slow, and be prepared you have to repeat the same email to them multiple times before you really get your answer.  Show details

Fell apart – This fell apart after about 8 months. The rubber around the screen started peeling away. I think if you're an active person or want to improve your overall health this is a affordable start. The app is quite intuitive and the HR scanner is handy. The step counter is quite good in promoting a more active lifestyle.  Show details

Great way to motivate you to keep fit! – I recently purchased the Charge HR at JBhifi and so far it has been great in monitoring my steps and motivating me to move around. I have an office desk job and have a tendency to stay put but a light vibration on your wrist reminds you to move each hour. My favourite feature is the 2min breathe function, giving an opportunity to exercise breathing anywhere, anytime.  Show details

Nice gadget, but might not last long – I am having my 3rd fitbit. Previous ones broke due to various reasons, band fall apart and stopped working. Very cool concept, great customer service, product hardware is not great – This item achieves what it was sent out to do; it provides time, heart rate and step counter for the day and can be tracked through your phone. representative, however, they were very helpful and I could exchange the product with no issues. I could have been very unlucky with the two watches that I have received, as the third one that I have now has been going on strong for over 6 months now, but you should still be wary when purchasing one.

Doesn’t last – My household has all used this Fitbit and have never made it last a year. The band starts to break apart where the screen meets and forms a air bubble. Great watch small battery – Purchased this watch to keep track of activity. while it has great features the battery life is what really lets it down.
