Very poor service and no response to urgent request for help with invoice issue from head office. They can not be contacted except by email with no phone number. The whole process was very stressful and my issue was only resolved by contacting the manufacturer to sort out. The store manager gave me wrong information re making a health fund claim and was no help in sorting it out.

 Follow-up  · Spotters sunglasses were fantastic in resolving my issue, still no reply from Florentine head office. Staff at Essendon store had no idea what was required re invoice that met requirements of my health fund. Finally rebate received thanks to intervention from Spotters.

Bad after sales service – This review relates to the Jindalee store and head office. I purchased a pair of Serengeti sunglasses in December’23 for over $300. All was fine with the glasses till last week when a fault developed rendering the sunglasses unsafe to wear. I returned to the store last Friday & the staff member promised to get back to me the same day with a solution as they had no parts. I have not heard back from them since and I cannot get through on the phone. When I had not heard back I made a formal complaint to their head office on June 10th to no avail whatsoever. This is very disappointing and is not acceptable or satisfactory. I will not buy from them again and would not recommend.

Update: I received replacement nose pads after two & a half weeks. This was after me advising them I would return the Serengeti sunglasses for a full refund if I didn’t get some action. I have therefore updated my review from 1 to 2 stars. I have purchased Serengeti sunglasses several times over the years and have no real issue with them. When I purchase my next pair I will buy them elsewhere but definitely not at Florentine Eyewear, Jindalee DFO.

The worst Store – I recently visited The Florentine Eyewear store in Brisbane and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. The store had a decent selection of sunglasses, but the overall atmosphere was marred by the behavior of the staff.I was taken aback by the rudeness displayed by the employees. To make matters worse, I observed something particularly off-putting: the staff openly conversing in Farsi in front of customers. While I understand that employees may have personal conversations, it is unprofessional and disrespectful to conduct them in a language that excludes and alienates customers.

Crap quality at high prices & wont refund – Don’t ever buy from them! Bought a $50 pair of sunglasses and tried returning them for a refund within 7 days as the lense keeps falling out. Their policy on their slip clearly notes that refunds and replacements are allowed within 7 days but they will not refund a pair that is clearly faulty. I will be reporting this and will never recommend or purchase from them again and wouldn’t suggest you do either!
