effortlessly. During the winter months, I can simply head out to the shed and split what I need for the evening rather than spending days working through piles of wood. It truly is a pleasure to use.

Recently, I pushed the machine beyond its rating by tackling a large stump, which resulted in a broken guide roller. However, resolving the issue was just as seamless as using the splitter itself. I ordered the replacement part from ForestWest on Monday, it arrived by Thursday, and the solid, well-engineered design made it easy to replace in just 15 minutes.

I am extremely impressed and will continue to recommend ForestWest and your log splitters to others.

Bought an 18 ton splitter from Forestwest.. was delivered to nearest depot promptly.. it assembled properly with relative ease.. working well on some gnarly sugar gum foot blocks. Can't comment on longevity after 3 mths but it is clearly working comfortably within its tolerances on knotty foot blocks. Show reply

I was actually a bit hesitant to buy from Forestwest at first after seeing a few negative Google reviews. Then I found out one of my mates already had one of their log splitters. dragged it out again this winter and it's still working great. Plenty of power for the type of timber I split and it's made the job a lot easier.

Delivery was better than I expected too. It was shipped from Perth to the Albany depot and was there the next day. Freight was only around $100 or so (definitely under $200), which I thought was pretty good for a machine this size.

No regrets at all. Glad I didn't let a few bad reviews put me off. I'd happily recommend it if you're after a solid electric log splitter.

your time to assemble the item, and then while assembling, you will notice a defect which was not or could not be fixed by a producing factory, and inform them accordingly. Instead of getting the item replaced or taking it back, they would start dictating their terms, playing tricks and tactics not only with you but even with the agencies or authorities you would have approached to seek relief and remedy. So, just to save yourself being ripped of your money, and keeping just a trash and defective item in your shed or backyard and to save you of uninvited stress and harassment, it would be advisable not purchase any product from them.

Then I was left waiting another 20 minutes, completely ignored, while the staff member vanished into the back. When I asked what was going on, I was told, “Oh I was just doing something else.”

Excuse me? You had one job — prepare the order.

Then, to top it off: “I can’t load it, I’m new to the forklift.” What kind of joke operation takes payment for heavy gear, sends a pickup notice, then has no trained staff to actually load it?

This place is a waste of time, waste of fuel, and an insult to anyone’s intelligence. Disorganised, untrained, unprofessional. Avoid Forrestwest at all costs.
