Many red flags – Tried to order a dress using paypal,was asked to enter my cc details,cancel order and then make a direct payment using PayPal,stinks of scam. Also claim to have stores in major cities,not true. Just posting this to save someone potential heartache.

Very poor after-sales service! – I ordered a dress from Formaldressaustralia. I was a bit nervous ordering from this company as I hadn’t heard of them before, however I was struggling to find a bridesmaid dress that fit the bride’s criteria and so I took a chance. I emailed the after-sales support team a day after placing my order to get confirmation of expected delivery time. I did not receive a response to this and a follow-up and so eventually figured I had been scammed and sourced an alternative dress. After emailing again, this time to cancel my order I finally received a response (1 week after purchase of dress). Under their cancellation policy, I only qualified for a 50% refund because my cancellation was too late. The reason it was late was because they never responded to my earlier emails! Recommend caution when ordering from here. Also note that the days to deliver that they note at the point of sale excludes tailoring time!

Very Very Poor - SCAM – Very Very poor. Ordered dress in Burgundy, dress supplied was red. Despite their policy of refund for wrong colour, they refused to honour that. Workmanship on the dress was extremely poor. Nothing good to say about them - steer clear and go to a reputable online company. Have reported them to NSW fair trading.
