Just try it - you won't regret it

My dogs are on their second bag of Frontier 2.5kg beef and i can't believe how great they look and how our Beagle's skin irritation has cleared up without any other treatment except changing to Frontier. Really important factor for me was that i feed raw diet and it is Australian made. I also Iove convenience of the subscription option and having it delivered to my door. My dogs are happy and so am I Show details

Best ever dog food

Been feeding frontier food to my 10 year old ridgeback cross for 2 years now. Goes nuts for it every day. Great quality produce, local company, and good customer service. Sensational. Show details

My Dog Loves It

My dog waits for his Frontier Pets no matter what protein. He also loves the chicken necks as well as the beef tripe. This is so easy to make for him and I know it is a quality food. Customer service is exceptional and the only thing that lets them down is the Post Office, But Frontier Pets has bent over backwards for me to help with delivery issues. Show details

Dogs absolutely hate it

They happily ate the small trial pack but the larger bag they would not eat at all… gave the remaining food to my parents to see if their dogs would eat it but they also refused it. Bloody huge waste of money! Show details

Going down hill

My dogs used to love all three selections. After the change it has not been the same. The product is already too expensive and shipping makes it even more. The more products you add the more shipping increases which does not make any sense. Show details

Difficulty since product changed

My little doggies used to love the chicken, beef & pork. I always bought the 300gm combo mix. They stopped eating the chicken a while back, and since the pellets have changed to being smaller, and crummier, have stopped eating the beef too. I went to order some more pork the other day, but the price has increased a lot and it is no longer worth purchasing, especially with delivery fees added. I also find the packaging not as good as it used to be. Sad, when it was such a good product.

Frontier - not what it use to be

I have been using frontier since we got our puppy 12 months ago. Recently they have changed the pellets to smaller ones and lots of crumbs - my dogs don’t like the new formula. They have also changed the packaging which I hate. The sticker labelling falls off easily, now I don’t know which bag is which. We alternate between beef, pork, chicken. I think we are going to stop purchasing frontier.

Frontier pet dog food

My dogs used to love it but not the new powdery stuff and there’s a problem with the chicken one. They just don’t like it anymore since it’s changed and have also thrown up!! Show details

What do the dogs know that we don’t?

When I discovered Frontier Pets I was delighted. My young dog loved it and I wanted an ethical product. I was so happy I contributed a positive review on their website. However since they changed the pellet size my dog simply will not touch the chicken (she’s OK with the beef). A friend to whom I recommended the foods also tells me her 2 dogs refuse the chicken. It can’t just be the change of size (although that’s also a problem now with more crumbs than pellets). I won’t be buying the product again. Very disappointing. Show details

Frontier Pets dog food

My dogs are fed a raw food diet so Frontier Pets compliments their existing diet. All three dogs love Frontier Pets and they have it for breakfast every day. The evening meal consists of raw meat with Vets All Natural Complete Mix and/or veggies. Although I give my dogs health supplements (ie Omega Oil and Flaxseeds), I know that Frontier Pets provides all the essential nutrients that are necessary in any dog’s diet. Equally important, being freeze dried, it is an anti-inflammatory raw food.

Not pellets but crumbs

Bought the trial packs for my two dogs. Unfortunately, rather than small pellets, the bags (all three of them) were filled with crumbs and a few broken pellets.

My Shih-Tzu (who eats anything) ate hers. The Westie seemed to like the taste but after eating two meals she refused to eat the mush. She did eat some broken dry pellets but would not eat the crumbs with water.

I am very disappointed after all the hype and will not be ordering Frontier again. It is expensive for a bag of crumbs. I have seen another review commenting on this very issue so it seems that mine is not an isolated case. Show details

My little Cavalier King Charles spaniel had some gastro and the vet seems to say any form of raw food is wrong. The vets are saying that Frontier food could be responsible. Any one heard / experienced that

My dog had constipation from frontierpets. The food is so dry and dense its no surprise. Look at Lyka instead, way better.
