Love these trees and will buy more in the future. My first tree was a white peach and nectarine. Absolutely amazing. 2 year has produced fruit peaches are not ready yet but nectarines have been the best I have had in years so sweet, juicy and from my own tree. Kids love them too. My Lime, Orange and mandarin are coming along slowly but it has… Read more

new growth (less than a year). My apple unfortunately didn’t make it but due to a combination of reasons- me being part of that issue. I definitely believe they do better in the ground, my apple was in a pot, but I feel this way about all my fruit trees not just these trees. I would highly recommend as they are a great product. I’m in the inner city and have a very small yard but wanted these for my kids to see and enjoy. I just wish they had more types of trees with different fruits

Highly recommend ! – Purchased a lemon and lime fruit salad tree for a family member and we are very impressed. We paid for express shipping and it arrived so fast, well packed in the box and it came with detailed instructions. We decided to plant it in a pot for the start. Can’t wait to watch it grow!

Disappointing Quality – Have bought a citrus and apple tree thus far. Followed instructions. Apple tree produced some small apples early on one graft. Have some lemons on a lemon tree. Very annoyed citrus tree arrived with leaf curl already entrenched. It was discounted due to ‘hail’ damage by $30 but when it arrived it had leaf curl due to leaf miners. Really hard to… Read more

manage. I would not have bought if I knew it was infested.

I will buy a stone fruit tree from them only because I was given a voucher by family to cover cost last Christmas . I wouldn’t willingly part any more money. I Will buy from Bunnings in future or local nursery.

Great! – Like this company they offers a unique and convenient way to grow multiple fruits on a single tree, perfect for any home garden. Their innovative approach makes it easy for ordinary people to enjoy a variety of fresh fruits without needing extensive gardening.

Cheaper and healthier to buy individual – bought a bunch of these approx. one year ago 2/3 of them have had graft rejection ( quite common from the other reviews on here ) spoke to customer service who tried to blame lack of watering even though we followed the guide off there website and are watered on timers.deb from customer service refused any kind of replacement or warranty. my… Read more

advice is buy trees locally and individually. mathematically/financially it is way more viable , don't be fooled by the gimmick even if you bought a tree from bunnings its warranted if you have issues.

Absolute rubbish – Bought 3 trees ,stone fruit, citrus and apple .sounded like a great idea on the site . When they arrived the apple had been knocked around in transit one branch had broken luckily a new branch appeared but I now have a big bush of one apple type and a tiny twig of the other. The stone fruit just died . And the citrus is healthy but tiny and will… Read more

take a few years to be able to bare fruit of any worth. All in all very expensive for what I received maybe if you pick them up and choose one yourself it would be a different review. Plants were purchased around 1 year ago.

Poor tree health, do not recommend – Paid a lot for a tree with three stone fruits on it. When it arrived the tree was in poor health. Leaves had been eaten by something, but had been sprayed before shipping to remove the bug. One graft had no new leaves on it (had all been eaten or fallen off), the old leaves were 90 % eaten and the fresh growth was starting to turn black already.… Read more

Other two grafts had 3-4 leaves each, most of which were heavily eaten. After a lot of TLC two grafts survived and started growing, but the third died. The tree is also tiny and will take many years so produce a decent crop on the two remaining branches. They could at least make sure all the grafts are stable before selling it rather than sending something out that's already dying. Not happy, will not be buying again.

The best purchased I've made in a long time – I bought two trees late last year. I planted them in large pots. Today the stone fruit one is covered in baby fruit and I expect the citrus will be the same in a few months. I am about to buy an apple tree. I am so glad that I purchased them. Thank you.

Very happy so far – Wonderful quality, healthy trees, and top notch customer service. Nothing is too hard, and every question is answered. I've purchased a grafted yellow nectarine / blood plum tree. Was able to pick it up as I live not far from the pickup location. The tree is about 60cm tall, with the two grafts each being about 20cm long with plenty of fresh,… Read more

green and healthy looking leaves on it. Will see how the tree grows in our yard but so far very happy.

I have had several questions, and have contacted them about doing pickup and applying a discount voucher to my order and they accommodated all of my requests and answered all questions in an extremely timely manner. I'm very happy with the customer service and the quality of the product so far and have every intention of returning to purchase one of their apple varieties also.

I will try to return to update this review as the tree grows.

Never again or recommend – Stone fruit tree was small and was suppose to have five grafts. Two of them died and were the size of a bbq skewer. Apple tree one graft died out of three grafts. Trees were abit higher than my knee height. Not worth the money. Go to a local nursery. For the price that's paid for the trees, you would think that the quality is good but it's not.… Read more

They should make sure the grafts work before sending to to you. Last time I complained that the apple tree grafts was not what I wanted and they told me to send it back and they charged me for postage again. This was after they argued with me that it was nearest to what I wanted. Well if I knew it was the nearest I was getting, I would not have bought it. I might as well go to a nursery and buy what I don't want in terms of grafts. They sent me another apple tree but one graft died.

A beautiful specimen for my deck. A talking point and great and handy for my cooking, – I received very promptly my lemon/mandarin tree. It has multiple leaves and many many flowers. The people do suggest that these trees are fertilised every two weeks. Might I suggest Powerfeed. I intend to order again through this company. Their delivery is quick and the tree comes very well packed. The result once I own it seems to be up to me.

Bought 3 trees in 2014 - all have issues – Firstly, on their website they show you these lovely ~1m trees with fruit on them. You would be forgiven for thinking that you were paying a premium for one of these lovely trees, however in my experience all 3 of my trees were shipped with fresh grafts of 2 leaves each. My 4-graft stone fruit tree lost a graft within a couple of months. The… Read more

top graft just lost its leaves and died, I don't think the root stock was mature enough to handle four grafts. The other 3 grafts are going ok but have quite nasty leaf curl, which is actually very difficult to control on a multi-grafted tree, due to the different varieties budding at different times. I couldn't guarantee it, but I think they came with leaf curl - there are very few fruit trees in my area.

My two 2-graft citrus trees have completely failed to thrive. I dug them up last week and transferred them to large pots, and when I washed the roots (see Gardening Australia's citrus guru) I found both trees had their main root twisted in a perfect corkscrew, exactly the same size. They hadn't hit clay, this was clearly a product of how they were grown in the nursery.

One of the citrus trees came with *six* failed grafts that had been removed - one had caused a large whirl in the relatively small stem. The stem looks very knarly and unhealthy, and I suspect that it is part of the reason that tree has failed to grow at all - the two successful grafts are now 15-20cm long after two years. The other tree is ~30cm.

I wish I had just bought the dual grafted citrus from Flemings - half the price, and the trees come about 1m high with mature grafts.

Follow up 2020 - I ended up replacing the citrus with dual grafts from Flemings. Two years later,… Read more

My Fruit Salad Tree experience – Having a small garden and wanting a variety of citrus fruits, I stumbled across a company that sold multi-grafted citrus plants. I thought it was a fantastic concept that would mean I could get oranges, limes, mandarins and lemons from 2 trees! Well after 3 years, I have managed a few lemons and the trees are still only about 80cm tall. Now, I… Read more

don't consider myself an expert when it comes to citrus tress but I do know how to keep a fairly small productive vegetable garden going and followed the instructions given from the company closely during the first few seasons.

One of my frustrations was their insistence to keep the grafts of equal size. So I kept cutting the grafts back, and back, and back. Problem being, the grafts don't grow equally or at the same time. So you get into this cycle of cutting one graft back only to see it go dormant while another graft shoots. Then you cut that back and the cycle continues.

Now, I can confidently say I've ended up with 2 lemon trees (which seem to be the dominant graft). Not surprising as most grafted citrus trees use a bush lemon as the root stock due to their hardiness.

The other very frustrating this is, when I ordered my trees, there was only one that was to have a lemon graft on it. I've contacted the company but have had nothing in response.

Extremely difficult to maintain. Very expensive if all you end up with is a single fruit.
