Battery delivered speedily, and correctly, but only charged to 53% – I was pleased to be able to find a replacement battery (same model number) for my phone here, and have it shipped (via Australia Post). all was well till later that evening when it got dark i noticed a ring of light around the front camera, so i took it back and they took another look, it didn't matter what they did it remained, they put the smashed screen back in and the ring of light went away the back light on the LCD bled over the screen something a screen should NEVER do. It was clear this screen was faulty and certainly not an OEM quality alternative and all evidence was provided to the seller including this video:

he was still adamant there was no way possible that it could be because in his delusional mind his store doesn't sell faulty items he blamed the installer yet admitted he doesn't install screens so what would he know? We requested he send another screen (along with an invoice) to the installer (not me) with a return postage satchel for them to swap the screens over whilst i was in the area (2-3 weeks) and if this fixed the issue he would get the faulty part back or both if they had the same fault and he still refused instead he insisted on me buying another of which i did not. eBay has since refunded me and now i will be pursuing the seller for the installation costs i incurred for him having sold a faulty component, again this seller could have avoided all this by actually assisting instead of trying to lay blame on the installer, a store that installs 100's of screens on all makes and models daily.

The fair trade commisioner in my state had this to highlight and the same applies right across Australia because sellers like this clearly don't understand Australian Consumer Law or are ignorant of it:

Under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) the following consumer guarantees on products and services apply;

Products must be of acceptable quality, that is: • safe, lasting, with NO FAULTS • look acceptable • do all the things someone would normally expect them to do. NOT MAKE FRONT CAMERA UNUSABLE! Acceptable quality takes into account what would normally be expected for the type of product and cost.

Products must also: • match descriptions made by the salesperson, on packaging and labels, and in promotions or advertising • match any demonstration model or sample you asked for • be fit for the purpose the business told you it would be fit for and for any purpose that you made known to the business before purchasing • come with full title and ownership • not carry any hidden debts or extra charges • come with undisturbed possession, so no one has a right to take the goods away or prevent you from using them • meet any extra promises made about performance, condition and quality, such as life time guarantees and money back offers • have spare parts and repair facilities available for a reasonable time after purchase unless you were told otherwise.

Services must: • be provided with acceptable care and skill or technical knowledge and taking all necessary steps to avoid loss and damage • be fit for the purpose or give the results that you and the business had agreed to • be delivered within a reasonable time when there is no agreed end date. Under the ACL, the consumer can claim a remedy from the trader/seller if the products do not meet any one or more than one of the above consumer guarantees.

A ‘remedy’ is an attempt to put right a FAULT, DEFECT, or FAILURE – for example, a repair, REPLACEMENT, or REFUND.

This seller avoided all remedies and all forms of assistance, they was both ignorant and rude and i hope my review makes others think twice because i don't wish for anyone else to have to deal with the crap i have over this, ultimately i will get back the money i had to pay re installation, and then i will have to have my phone sent somewhere to be fixed correctly, but of course this seller won't care about that, all he cared about was the money, money eBay and Afterpay have since taken! Make sure you pay using PayPal and you will have no such problems, i couldn't use PayPal in this instance as i was locked out of my account because of 2FA on my phone with it's broken screen!
