I will give zero star if I can – I would like to make an very bad comment on gaggenau . The cooking stove, which costs four times higher than the common brands such as Rannai, whirlpool or TGC. I have use cooking stoves for more than 20 years, and I have never encountered worse than this stove. First, ignition has a problem. So I asked gaggenau Companies technician to come to… Read more

repair, having charged for $800 a visit, not including any parts. On the second visit, they come and asked for additional charges for the parts needed. They changed the parts and then left. However, they haven’t checked thoroughly before they left, and the stove was still broken. Then I called again and asked for a third visit. They came and claimed they need to change some other parts of the stove. Of course the charge was even more. That’s OK, if it really works. However, the same story again. The stove still failed to ignite, ie no improvement. I have complained to the technical support once for that problem, and they promised to send someone skillful to come. OK, then the technician come for the third time. This is now the fourth time, they kept sent someone who does not know how to repair their own appliances again, and claim they need to change another parts again. As predicted, this kind of random changing different parts of the stove without knowing what had happened doesn’t work. So, the technician need to come for the fifth time. At the time of writing, I have already spent four whole mornings not to mention more than $4000 spendings on the stove but yet The problem hasn’t been solved. (it is the costs to buy another brand in brand new already) I am not sure how long this problem will go on, and obviously I would not recommend anyone to buy this brand.
