Gaggia Platinum Vogue

After 9 years of use - excellent – We make from 10 to 15 coffees a day. Had to fix it after 5 years because of leaking, but it is normal, all seals (5-6) had to be replaced, cost about 150$. I clean the system every 1-2 weeks, takes about 2 minutes, and grease it well every 2 months or so + descaling as needed. Give it love and get good coffee in return. had was with the steam system that doesn't make anymore a nice foam (after 6 or 7 years) but we purchased a separate device now.

Say no to the Gaggia platinum series – I bought the platinum swing when it came out made great cafe for about a year and a half then started to have all kinds of issues repaired it twice,cost of repairs averaged about $175.00!Last year I purchased the platinum vogue just out of warranty and now it has stopped working!Will not waste my $$$again on the platinum series!Looking at the Saeco Intuitive!

Not worth the money! – Many issues, numerous fixes under warranty..It is leaking again and not worth fixing it due to the cost of repair. As others said, water tank is pathetic, it wont start every second time indicating that water catch container is full where it has 3 drops of water. We got it as present - I would have regret it big time if we have paid for it....

Terrible, don't make the same mistake – Bought the machine 3 years ago, had problems within 6 months. Machine was completely replaced and has had no fault since however doesn't make a great coffee. The machine leaks and coffee often tastes burnt despite beverage configurations or cleaning. Expensive, burns coffee, leaks

Steam wand broke after second use! – I bought this machine thinking it's a Gaggia, it's got to be good. How wrong I was! The construction quality was flimsy and the steam wand broke after the second time I used it. The coffee was ok but I could only use it for a few times before I had to send it back to the seller for a refund. Shoddy construction, small water tank.

Terrible – Unfortnately we didnt gat what we paid for and that is a machine to last years. We did get a years worth of brilliant coffee though... Made a brilliant cup of coffee. Used twice a day and gave a perfect cup everytime. Died with less than twelve months of use and as it was a gift it was 1 month out of warranty. Advised it would cost 800.00 to repair Very expensive.

Excellent – If i had to buy a machine i would buy this one simply because it does what it is suppose to. It makes great coffee. This is a great machine. cost it is alot but for what you get it is great. The machine is also very big so it takes up a large amount of your bench space but if you are buying a nice machine like this you dont really care.
