this is a safety hazard. She did nothing about it and the lounge was set on fire by an unknown person.

Gallagher Bassett claimed that despite me showing a clear screen shot of me informing both the client services officer and DCJ head office that it could not be confirmed that I informed them and denied my claim. Then they claimed that I informed them in an unreasonable amount of time for them to act even though the client services officer could have made a phone call to the hoarder tenant and told him to remove it or arranged an emergency contractor to remove the lounge.

I suspect that either [Name Removed] or [Name Removed] or both have some sort of relationship with the client services officer because why would they both ignore clear evidence then make excuses for her lack of action?

If I hand someone a gun and they shoot someone, I am also liable for their injuries for providing the weapon. The client services officer neglected to have the lounge removed or even make a phone call to the tenant and it was set on fire, putting every tenant, our pets and our personal possessions in danger, therefore she is liable for the damages.

I have serious respiratory issues and have been living in a smoke damaged apartment among smoke infected items for the last 6 months because as a disabled pensioner, I cannot afford to replace the items that are damaged. Neither [Name Removed] nor [Name Removed] care about my situation despite my claim being extremely conservative and me not claiming for absolutely everything I could have claimed. These people demand photos of the damaged items which costs a lot of money to print so now I am out of pocket not only for my personal belongings but also putting the claim together.

They are acting like the claim would come out of their own personal pocket! Or are they worried that their potential friend, the client services officer, may be held accountable by her superiors for not doing her job properly? Whatever the reason is, it stinks of corruption.

Avoid this company, they are disrespectful, uncaring and ignore clear solid evidence. They will side with whoever is paying them which in my case is the government. [Name Removed] and [Name Removed] are brought and paid for and should be ashamed of themselves for tormenting disabled people and leaving them to suffer consequences through no fault of their own.

claim that they don’t owe you money but then end up having to pay because you can easily prove that they do. You’re doing their office work for them. Absolutely incompetent and trying to dodge having to make payments obviously! Maybe the business isn’t doing so well?? Fair Trading will make that decision.

Not only did they pay my tpd payout into the wrong account they refused to accept it was there fault. I gave them the correct account to put it in and they still managed to mess it up. Then when you need to get hold of them no one ever answers the phone or emails. Absolute nightmare Show details

going to make a claim anyway. Guess what, Gallagher Bassett accepted the claim without taking any statements from myself or any witnesses and shut me down every step of the way. They are the worst insurance company to deal with and in my opinion, should have an independant investigation lodged against them. As a policy holder that I was paying my premiums to, they appeared to be more focused on working against me than with me. Gallagher Bassett are the scum of the insurance industry.

commence date was clearly stated on official documents, GB disputed dates for payment, failed to provide transport to their specialists, failure to pay my specialists entitled under law, further threats in writing GB will not pay medical expenses and specialist after approvals were granted by each, making very unreasonable requests, adding clauses to limit eligibility payment periods that DO NOT EXIST IN LAW, being dishonest, uncooperative, not accepting the facts.

Kicking people out prior to their recovery, after denying essential treatment can lead to drastic outcomes. GB are making it the most difficult and painful recovery possible. I give them "ZERO STARS", more than terrible.

weekly payment reimbursements', again, that was weeks ago. I have been off for close to three months with a chronic back injury from an accident four years ago, this flared three months ago and I was transferred to GB for workers compensation. A simple two scans and a minor surgery or cortisone is all that is required, but I have been unable to get these scans or the procedures done because Gallagher Bassett refuses to respond to me. I have been disconnected from phone calls multiple times now and have sent 10+ emails a week at some points in time with almost never a response or a one sentence response that they would give me more information as soon as they could, and then absolute silence. I am at risk of homelessness, I have no money or savings at all as a result of their absolute incompetence and lack of care. The reopening of this claim was already a mentally and emotionally draining situation for me, but the lack of care from Gallagher Bassett has really caused a spiral in my mental health. This company does not care, and by the looks of it I am not the only one experiencing these problems, and its sickening that it's not just a recent occurrence, but it has been years of this for some people. I have now contacted an ombudsman regarding Gallagher Bassett.

bare on my left leg and can’t feel I my right leg g&b did not provide any phisio or treatment at all leaving me carrying my body weight through my arms and hips but say it has nothing to do with my injury Waiting 3 months plus for medication reimbursement and instead of helping me go through change of medication they let me go through withdrawal from one med while changing and adjusting to another and while still under medical assistance through g&b in the 3rd year they did nothing to help me and I was referred to the public system where they are actually giving me help and trying their best for long term management and said that painmed was negligent in letting me doing the med change at home in the first place due to the risks are voiced with the withdrawal I missed a call from my case manager while going through this and sent a courtesy message to say I’m sorry but I’m not up to talking at the moment as I am going through bad withdrawals due to pain med change she replied and said thanks it was nothing urgent and to call when I feel up to it They put in there report that I sent the message but left out the fact it was a courtesy message replying to a unscheduled call they left me for a total of 6-7 months with no phisio at all carrying all my weight through my arms and swinging my hips to get my legs where I needed them Then to top it off cancelled my at home phisio that they mentioned and suggested in march ignoring my phisio s calls emails and requests for additional sessions at one visit a fortnight So a further 7 months they were supposed to be paying for my rehab that they just left me I am about to be homeless in 3 weeks the mental issues they have cause that can not be compensated are unbelievable and they give you a 5 day deadline for paper work but took 7 months to mock up their report and put in the lies necessary from their paid assessment staff and rejected all consequencial injuries saying it has nothing to do with back surgery slipped discs and nerve damage They have admitted they don’t want to pay out on seriously injured worker but yet I can’t leave my house more than once a week at best They are happy to take billions in premiums but genuinely injured workers get screwed over I worked 6 nights a week had a normal life was 3 weeks off buying my house when I done my injury I can’t leave my house It is more than likely. I will never work again I am trying to survive on a disability pension and they are doing all they can to only compensate for lower back surgery and upper digestive everything else they rejected which by time I pay lawyers Medicare and Centrelink take their cut I will be still left homeless unable to work and would have lost everything I ever worked for I have been honest all the way through but they are doing everything to make me look like a liar and discredit everything even changing their assessment report 6 months after it had happened Using the words upon reflection I over exaggerated by hip mobility on physical exam where she used all her tools and measurements things to saying that upon reflection visual examination was much greater mobility and gave a degree and percentage of my mobility through the look she kept giving me Through the corner of her eyes but the measured ones are less accurate upon reflection Now I have to go through tribunal and as previously mentioned it’s the sa workers tribunal that g&b work for If you don’t want to pay out on injuries don’t bloody get into work over insurance I should be up for a golden glove award for acting is this is all fake and what they say is true

WorkCover claim painful process – Very negligence people caused a lot of pain suffering and stress also economic hardship to me taking over 4 years for a WorkCover claim still going, made we really sick , they already been Under investigation in 2016/17 by the ombudsman for negligence and corruption and rejection of claims unfairly, make my health worse, instead helping workers they destroy them. Show details

then case manager rang me asking if I was admitted because of her as my doctor had said the delay in treatment had resulted in my admission. I was again admitted for 6 weeks after services and treatment were cut, to add insult to injury They cut my payments off the first week I was admitted. I've been told by my case manager to go to Harvey Norman and buy my own recliner, as I can't sleep in a bed due to my injuries, my payments are about to be cut again, even though I'm still going through medical treatment and have no capacity for the foreseeable future, so while trying to deal with the multiple procedures I need, I have to fight them to stay on payments so my family don't starve and I don't end up homeless.They are the most immoral, corrupt company I've ever had to deal with. $1.8 billion dollar profit globally last financial year, money made off the backs of injured people. They are a just for profit organisation who have no care for injured workers. Worst customer care and service provided – I have been with them for 3 years now. My issues was with the customer service. After informing and updating there website for mail preference by post. They do not send any mail and finally send me overdue notice with late fee. And when I ask them they are blaming Australia Post for missed delivery. If they are able to provide minimum customer care then imagine how they will behave when I file a claim.
