Lazy craftsmanship/quality & extremely dangerous edges – My mum purchased 2 box sets of garden tools from Garden Tools Australia (1 was going to be for a gift) based on Mark's recommendation from the "Self Sufficient Me" YouTube channel. Sadly we did not receive the same quality products that Mark did! Some areas of the tools were smoothed/finished well, but in other areas, they were seriously dangerous & could cause severe injury. I don't know if it was laziness on the quality assurance team, but either way, when I voiced my concerns to Garden Tools Australia, they didn't seem too bothered by my concerns or my safety, & they certainly didn't offer a refund & for the tools to be sent back. They wanted to, instead, replace the tools with another set. I basically said 'why would I want to risk replacing these sets for other sets that could very well be just as imperfect?' (& based on their lack of concern for safety & quality, how would I have ANY confidence that replacement tools would be any different?). Anyway, it was too much hassle & the drama that Garden Tools Australia caused both my mum & I mentally with the whole ordeal was just too much for both of us. We ended up just discarding the tools because they were too dangerous to use, & clearly a refund wasn't going to happen. The tools themselves would have been great IF they were smoothed/finished off PROPERLY. It's a shame this company doesn't care about the quality nor the safety, of their customers. The whole thing left a very sour taste in our mouth, as well as a lot of money down the drain (as it had to be shipped internationally as well). I would NOT recommend these tools. I would IF they finished/smoothed the products well to a high quality standard, cared about the safety of customers, & changed their attitude. Sadly that was not the case for my mum & I. I honestly don't know how they can even sell these tools because of the dangerous edges on them. My mum & I certainly will NEVER buy from this company ever again. Bad experience! I would upload more images but it seems there's a maximum of 10 images. I no longer have the email correspondence or the invoice, etc. because they frustrated my mum & I so much with their poor quality products, waste of money, & lack of accountability, that I wanted nothing to do with them, nor to see their logo or any past correspondence from them (hence why I deleted the emails) - I did however, keep the photos as a reminder to never buy from them ever again.

Garden Tools Australia (Lelox) – Without a doubt the BEST garden tools I've ever come across - Aussie made too! They are manufactured from marine-grade aluminium and cast from moulds - no separate handles, all one piece. So, lightweight, ergonomic, and corrosion resistant. They should literally last a lifetime and then some. The company provided quick turnaround, and a choice i.e. buy singularly or in a pack of multiple tools with gloves, etc.

According to their website: 'These tools are used and endorsed by Landcare groups throughout Australia and are widely used in botanical gardens, local councils and government departments.'
