Underwritten by Auto & General – Auto & General is a large international company that underwrite a lot of companies that want to use their own brand name on-sell insurance policies. Generally policies have great prices until it comes to claims. They seem to do what they can to make the claims process very hard in order to refuse payments to customers making a claim. Great prices but ... Hoop jumping when it comes to claims.

Check the underwriter! – Did online quote & all good until I saw who the underwriter is ..... Auto & General. South African parent company - big company that one would guess generate good profits. Alas .... always a good price but often find reasons not to pay claims! Online form easy, asked relevant (& no irrelevant!) questions. Price very good. Anticipated hassles is one ever has to claim.
