marketing brochure, were meant to receive the full Policy documents direct from iWarranty, however we never received the policy documents, the 14 days cooling off period expired and we could not opt out of the policy, there is a long list of everything they don't cover, and a very small list of what they do cover. Sure we should have read more into this policy and avoided being bullied by the dealer to buy the policy. Just be aware folks, there is no pro rata refund if you sell the vehicle before the end of the policy. You can transfer the policy, but it has to be within 7 days so if you are trading the car at a dealer there is no guarantee the dealer will take the policy. Ensure you get the full policy documents within the 14 days. Hopefully at some point EDS will get hung out.

another vehicle (an Audi SQ5) from an interstate dealer.

Unfortunately, my experience with Integrity has been extremely disappointing.

When the Audi SQ5 arrived, it had immediate mechanical issues (milky oil and oil in coolant), despite the dealer advertising that their vehicles undergo a 100-point comprehensive check. I also had written confirmation from the dealer stating the warranty covered “everything except tyres, batteries, light globes, scratches and servicing.” However, when I submitted a claim, Integrity declined it.

Integrity’s preferred mechanic quoted around $3,000 for work they said was not covered by the warranty, the workshop didn’t give me confidence that it was equipped for the level of repair needed. I paid for an independent assessment myself (around $1,000) with a European specialist mechanic and received a detailed quote of roughly $6,000. This was also declined by Integrity on the basis that the items were “not covered under their policy.”

The SQ5 ultimately wasn’t fit for purpose, and I had no choice but to trade it in at a significant financial loss.

Around the same time, my A45 AMG began developing unusual gearbox noises. After joining a Facebook group dedicated to sharing customer experiences with Integrity warranty claims, I became concerned and chose to sell the A45 as well to avoid potential further financial loss.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Integrity car warranty. Both vehicles ended up costing me far more than expected. From what I’ve been through, I would not choose this warranty again even though they ended up refunding $750 for the Audi SQ5 and failed to refund the warranty on the Mercedes A45 AMG.

from BMW! They told me I was in breach of my service requirements and that MY CAR requires “fixed service intervals”.

Integrity have not stated that the servicing did not cause the failure — denying my claim because it didn’t fit their own interpretation of servicing requirements- breaching Australian consumer laws.

Avoid like the plague. I can not believe the response they were willing to put in writing! Disguisting. Junk warranty ++. Can’t wait to wipe the floor with integrity warranty in VCAT. I’ll remove this review if you pay for my repairs like you should have 2 months ago

 Follow-up  · Still no attempt at resolution, no contact from integrity. Absolutely appalling! Completely wiped their hands of their obligation and contract. Illegal, unethical… I could continue but I’ll have my day in VCAT.

Aircon broke just outside the dealers 3 months warranty. Am glad got the insurance. Called the hotline and service staff wasn’t too friendly. Gave us a mechanic within 20km but not a good one. Replaced the compressor (insurance only paid for a 2nd hand one and labour). Paid for re-gas $220 and less than 48hours, aircon stopped working again. Went down to mechanic and he mentioned condenser broke. Again a bad feeling! Looks like the insurer does not vet their mechanic. Apparently this one is not honest. Leave us wondering if the compressor was really broken!!!

We called after the Xmas break and got a friendlier service staff. She gave me 3 mechanics though 25km away. After some reviews research, we went for one. Felt better this time with this one at Clayton south. Still in progress as issue not fixed yet. But repair for my radiator (cheapest!!! From insurer) was approved within a week. Reasonable insurer but would think they need to really do routine checks on their mechanic as some of them are just ripping us off and wasting the car owners time.

 Follow-up  · Still 3 star as not totally satisfied! It’s been 3 weeks. Have to pay for the aircon pipe which is over $1,000. Not sure how the previous mechanic managed to top up gas with broken pipe. Had to replace pipe to top up gas with dye to track where leak is! Insurance said this is not covered. afternoon of submitting the claim, I and the repairer were both contacted by Integrity to confirm the claim was endorsed under warranty for the full amount. This enabled the repairs to be made and ensured a quick turn around in getting the vehicle back on the road. Shout out to Integrity for making the process hassle free and timely.

“wear and tear”. The car has only done 110,000kms and has been routinely serviced, how can they claim an engine fails at this age??? Then we went through their internal dispute resolution where they only agreed to have an “approved mechanic” look at the car after I submitted a complaint to the AFCA. Their mechanic was “unable to identify any faults with either the vehicle or the engine” and “there are no issues with the vehicle” and closed our complaint. This whole process took 3 months from my initial claim!!

I then had a seperate mechanic do diagnostic to get an independent opinion, he agreed with my original mechanic and that the engine could fail at any time. I also had diagnostics done by the car manufacturer who agreed as well. We took the car back to Integrity’s “approved mechanic” who did another assessment and now agrees.

With this we submitted a claim this week to integrity who have AGAIN denied due to wear and tear? How can engine failure be wear and tear, when the service history has been maintained and in your own words 2 MONTHS AGO “there are no issues with the vehicle”.

Feel sorry for their inexperienced claims staff that have to deal with the incompetence of their management!! I will be taking this further with consumer affairs Victoria.

I was contacted today by Integrity and informed that my claim is approved for repair.  Unfortunately, only $2,969.00 plus $500.00 was approved for the claim amount rather that the maximum of $5000.00. entire engine was impacted by the oil pump failure, in particular the turbo charger being seized due to oil starvation.  All this is in the report. However Integrity / iWarranty dont agree and only covered for the oil pump and labour. Surely one with mechanical knowledge in Integrity understands that a failed oil pump will no longer pump oil to the Turbo charger as it too requires oil lubrication amongst other moving mechanical parts requiring lubrication. I paid $2700.00 for the Absolute Level 2 extended warranty and I feel let down. Please review your assessment to cover the maximum claim amount of what I understand it to be $5000.00

Also, the claim consultant was rude and was talking over me entirely.

The fault that we had to deal with took a few days to be cleared by Integrity, before any work was commenced. That meant we had to leave the vehicle in Sydney for over a week as we could not drive it. Living some 200klms south of Sydney meant the car had to be repaired by the mechanic in Sydney where we limped into. This caused some grief with time and inconvenience, but the repairs were eventually approved by Integrity. We were slightly out of pocket for consumables, (not covered in the policy) but the reimbursement more than covered the cost of the 3-year warranty purchased. This we are very happy with and hopefully will not need to use the warranty again. All in all, quite happy with the procedure and the reimbursement for 95% of the costs.

purchased this warranty and contacted Stuttgart about the warranty who then sent a claim to Integrity car warranty. I received a call from Integrity the next day saying my claim was denied as the works was carried out without their authority. Also I was blamed by the caller for not reading the fine print on terms and conditions relating to "unauthorised works". Despite my explanation that I had forgotten about my extended warranty purchase, the person reiterated tha the claim will be denied despite my appeal to the manager. I requested the claim to be escalated to the manager for an appeal in writing.

My case was reviewed and Integrity has kindly reimbursed $904 of my unauthorised works. This goodwill gesture has been a relief for me and I am very appeciative of this.
