It was more expensive than my last by 300
Policy was easy to set up, set up one car earlier this year 2008 Suzuki swift policy cost 800 then swapped for 2004 Suzuki ignis and policy spiked to 1100 (incurred 2 demerits while on swift) but that adds an extra 300?? Everything else does not apply in this case.

I have recently had to go through the process of lodging a claim and the Team at Youi have been absolutely outstanding with keeping me informed of what is happening and they have made the general process that bit less stressful and easier... thank you Team at Youi!!
Anxiety and depression
It Would of been handy for me if you informed me you cancelled my Full Comprehensive Car Insurance with you.
First time I ever attempt to make a claim in the 30 years I’ve been driving to find out I’d been driving uninsured for over 2 months!
Now I have a $2900 debt I can’t pay on my low income as an Aged Carer whilst supporting my disabled son with two auto immune diseases.
Youi... if you had of told me you canceled my insurance with you I would of been insured when I had a minor incident and not be in stressful debt that I’m unable to pay. Stress, anxiety and depression thanks to Youi!

Youi are amazing
With Youi you always feel like you’re getting a good deal. Always an actual person to talk to. Have used the amazing roadside assistance as well. My son has claimed and it was dealt with straight away, no issues. Would really recommend them. 10/10
Service was exceptional
I had the most exceptional service from Melissa on the Sunshine Coast. She took the time to get to know me and what would suit me and I found the whole experience easy and generally enjoyable! The banter was fantastic!
I now have my car AND bike insured with Youi and if the initial experience was anything to go by, I won't be going anywhere else for a long time!
Great and easy to apply.
Three years on board and have insured four different cars with savings every time. Have never used road assistance as have never had a break down. I have never had to claim on these policies.
Only give quote over the phone. And then they lied about my quote being a special case.
They offered me a okay quote. But the guy was way too aggressive about pushing a sale.
I told him all I wanted was a quote. But all he cared about was signing me on the spot. You could tell on his voice tone about how agitated and aggressive he was. Even though I did not buy his product, I feel raped. He needs to take a serious chill pill.
I hate these kind of salesmen. I can only image what they are gonna put me through if I had to make a claim.
I've decided to go to a different insurer - even if it means paying a bit more.

Youi has truly blown me away with the short but sweet experience I had with them.
Signing up was easy, the sales rep was very informative and it was a great deal compared to my previous insurance company.
Unfortunately I unexpectedly had an accident which totaled my car within a month of joining Youi. As dissappointed as I was the one thing that was not disappointing is Youis service and dedication to get the claim settled in the shortest time possible!!

Non existent customer service
Less than one star if that was possible for customer service. The YOUI rep I spoke to argued for 30 minutes about the issue I needed assistance with. After talking with the YOUI rep in the morning I then received numerous text messages that day which were no longer relevant, including into the evening, as well as one at 2.30 am the following morning. It took nearly 2 weeks to resolve the issue we had with the roadside assistance company YOUI contracted out the work to, and we received no help from YOUI regarding the refund we were offered by the roadside assistance company.

Generally good but given lack of payment customer service, you get a 1.5/5 from me.
Generally more expensive than competing insurance but have stayed with Youi as differences are not too much higher, however I have noticed that during COVID Youi is offering the worst customer service and reductions in insurance for vehicles unused/heavily unused. Further they do not reprocess payments same day for policy's unless you call them as all automatic payment methods links do not work in the emails. Never needed to make a claim, but have changed home & contents away due to pricing am now thinking after my few recent customer service hits I will look elsewhere when I have some more time to compare. My experience was with Support Agent [name removed].

On this site, I noticed that my usual insurance company had a low rating and services below par. That surprised me as I last made a claim more than 10 years ago and they were excellent. Hence I looked at highly rated companies and what they were offering. One of them was Youi. I completed the form on its website for a quote on a new SUV and immediately had a phone call from a very pleasant, patient and informative Jez in Queensland. Although it took about an hour to go through further details-gathering and options available, it was worth the ti...me and effort as it led to a surprising and amazingly low premium, which was on par with the premium I am currently paying another company for my 21-year old small size sedan car. I was expecting an annual premium of close to $1000 but was quoted about a third of that. Jez did offer other options and insurances but was never pushy about it. Although I am generally a very loyal customer (with the last company for all types of insurances for 24 years), I did not hesitate to buy this insurance from Youi. As a retiree now, every dollar saved helps - in this case, hundreds of dollars! I hope their services, should I have to claim, will be just as pleasant and efficient.
Add a Learner Driver
My son just passed his L’s test so wanted to add him to my existing policy which I have with another provider. My current provider quoted me and I was flabbergasted at how high it was so phoned Youi for a quote. The quote with Youi came back $2,000 cheaper per year. Could not believe it. I signed up straight away !!!!
Wow Customer Service Still Exists
So easy to set up and so many extras included. The customer service was friendly and professional and answered all my questions and concerns. So I have now have a policy that covers more than my previous insurer, saved heaps on the cost and was treated with service that is hard to find these days. Five out of Five stars for everything.
Couldn't believe how much I saved
I think the policy is amazing value & my husband & I will be looking at Youi when we purchase our new Toyota in August. I also will be reassessing my home & contents as well.

I just don’t get it.
Marketing focusses on saving money by tailoring (read restricting) your policy. Just bought a new car. I did the google search thing and compared about half a dozen policies.
Youi would only give me a price after they called me to discuss. 15 minutes of time wasted on the phone after entering all my details on the website (more time wasted) only to find they are over $1500 dearer than NRMA and their policy comes with more restrictions.
Stop wasting people’s time and give them an indicative quote online.
Youi - great value, patient and informative service, best cover
After doing a quick online quote with another highly starred Canstar company, I thought initially that the number of quesitons asked and the time the quote took was a bit excessive. Then I realised that the personalised approach and careful risk assessment was perfect for a client like myself - no claims and low risk. The added bonus of road side assistance and best price when compared to my current provider and the alternative company meant I would be crazy not to join the team at Youi. All of the above are important, of course, but the most e...ncouraging aspect was the amazing phone service provided by Kyle who did not rush me, make me feel stupid for asking so many questions, sounded relaxed and also had a laugh with me. I have to highly recommend this company! Yes the ads are right on - I saved over $300! My message is - Don't just stick with the car insurer you have through loyalty. You may be getting ripped off!
Impressed with business model
I had been with my previous insurance Company over 10yrs, and thought them fair. However after comparing price, policy and the way in which the business in structured, Youi was streets ahead. Saved over $300 annually
We've been insured with Youi for about 9 years now, since our car was new. We've made 3 claims in that time, twice was for hail damage and one after another driver merged into me. All three times the repairs have happened as quickly as possible (the hail damage repairs took a little while because basically everyone in Brisbane had to get their cars repaired after that!) and were handled quickly and professionally. The repairs were perfect each time. Each year I call Youi and competitors to make sure I'm not paying too much, and each year Youi i...s comparable. This year they're $30 more expensive than Budget with same excess and agreed value, but I'll pay that money because Youi includes roadside assistance as standard and I trust their claims process and repair network.

Has anyone ever been able to get the ONLINE quote that they falsely advertise.
My insurance is due and looking to go with youi, however, i'm also looking at trading my current vehicle and getting another, so the question is would the remaining balance go to the "new" car policy or is apy for a complete new policy as well?
