It works, but,,,, – This trapper actually works but only under certain circumstances. It works best in an enclosed room and not in open spaces. It works when there is no other attractants in the room with it. By that I mean people. Humans emit far more CO2, heat and humidity than this little machine and as a consequence, a female mosquito will always attack the… Read more

biggest source of attractant. If it's left in an empty room it will definitely catch what is in there but of little use if you are in there with it. It doesn't kill the insects so I turn it off and spray metho through the fan and that kills everything and leaves no residue.

Can’t say for certain it does anything at all – I will however keep it on every night starting from around 7pm until I return to my room around 11-12am and check the catchment basket at the end of the week and see what’s what. I had two mozzies in my room last night, turned it on when I went to shower and came back out and both were still flying around in my room. This was a 20 minute shower by… Read more

the way which would give the machine more than enough time to do whatever it’s meant to do to lure them in, but yeah nothing happened. Trapped the worst one in my bathroom and the one buzzing around my room didn’t seem interested in me so I left him.

Yes I realise mosquitoes who feed on blood are female. But I use words like that for most things under the sun.

We also got the light zapper for the kitchen and yeah no idea how that’s fairing either.

I unfortunately never turned it on again and so I have nothing else to add.

Useless guests get bitten sat next to it – This unit was effectively worthless. Didn't kill any mozzies. Left it on overnight and only trapped a few small moths. Returned to Bunnings. Show details

Very effective – Insects love me, I am the sacrificial human in our household. Over three days this collected hundreds of tiny insects we would have never known we had indoors. I left this running continuosly - at night on the settee where I get bitten, in the daytime adjacent to the underside. After a week of not being bitten I did get one bite, so will just… Read more

continue. We dont have mosquitos in the house so I cant comment on the one star review I saw, but I did follow the instructions exactly and keep redampening the sponge pad.

Nothing more than a moth attractor – Certainly not a mozzie killer... Had this 4months now and whilst i try and sleep with mozzies buzzing around me, my lounge room is filling up with moths, (doesn't kill them) never had a problem with moths before. I now have to vac inside and sweep outside every day...not slightest impressed.....no.point turning light off as thats the supposed attractor ....i just no longer use it....back to the good ol mozzie coils, they never fail...
