DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They took my son’s computer and would not return it until he paid over $300, for zero service and zero repair. They do not have an office in Bondi Junction, rhey are from Liverpool. Completely unscrupulous

Charged twice for the same service – We booked this company to fix our laptop on 8 January 2024. The technician, disrespectful of our time, called my husband hours before the appointment time and said he was at our place and wanted to proceed with the job. us that this was going to be an extra charge. We were charged $180 for this visit, as expected. The next day, they charged us another $190, saying the technician spent extra time with us -which he did not. We did not voluntarily pay this, and we had to get another technician to remove the additional virus protection, which was interfering with our original program.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY – They present themselves as experts who can fix anything, but in reality, they deliver little to no results. Their primary focus seems to be making a quick profit, with little regard for customer satisfaction. Once they’ve taken your money, you’re left with empty promises and no support, as their customer service is completely unresponsive. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for a reliable service provider.

Geeks CRS Camden- Stay away from them – If there was a negative rating, I would give it to them. They diagnosed my computer as having a faulty router. They agreed to come back a few days later. problem fixed in 15 min no router required. I have written to Geeks CRS Camden a number of times asking for a refund, it has been one month and still no response. This co0mpany is truly abysmal.

THERE"S A RIP OFF GOING ON – Accidentally called these guys. They were late (arrived at 7.30pm), stayed for 5 minutes and wanted to come back to spend more time on my problem which I could see they would drag out and cost me hundreds. Bad taste in my month, please don't go there! There must be a way to sue them, is there an ITombudsman?

didn’t have the capacity to hold Word, Excel etc so couldn’t be done, fair enough our problem. The iPad was set up, so this job done, an easy job. However when it came to setting up email access on the iPhone this “expert” struggled & even had to Google how to do it! In the end he was unable to make it work! To make matters worse after he left we found that our emails were not coming through at all. Working fine before he arrived but not after he left. Received no further real help, eventually worked it out ourselves but wasted 5 hrs in the process, to do something we didn’t want to do ourselves in the first place! Charged us $463 to simply set up an iPad, again something we could have done ourselves. So $463 was a total “rip off” especially considering the problem with our emails & having to fix it ourselves. We definitely don’t recommend Geeks Sydney nor will we use them again. Will make doubly sure we ring the right Geeks company in future, one we have been happy with in the past.

Worst Computer Repair! – I scheduled an appointment of urgency and they said they could get the job done by the next day.. it took over a month just to have the LCD fixed. refund every day. They have blocked me from emails and they always have the same excuse “our manager will get in touch” but never have. Biggest scammers!! Do not recommend anyone to go here, they will take your money and not even fix the problem!

STAY AWAY – I accidentally booked these robbers instead of Geeks2U (who are fantastic). The have not provided the service, not attended and not provided a refund. Total shonks. Don't waste your time and money

Geeks Sydney refusing to answer my calls, won't refund product not supplied – I have called and spoke with Geeks Sydney & left messages for a Manager to return my call twice, with regards to a refund that is owed to me and now they won't even answer my calls. I accidentally booked with this company when searching for Geeks2U - don't make the same mistake that I did.

Lacking in experience – My computer would not boot. I arranged for someone from Geeks Sydney to visit at a cost of $143. further $150, making a total of $540. I declined.

I then took the computer to a small repair shop in North Sydney. The next day he phoned to say that the problem was fixed. He said that he had seen this problem on several occasions, and it was caused by a corrupted upgrade, which he had removed. His charge was $50, and the computer is working perfectly.

I reported all this to Geeks Sydney, who have yet to comment, or apologise for the unsatisfactory outcome due to the lack of experience, or training, of the person they sent to fix the problem. From my experience, they should be avoided at all costs.
