No Show / No Call / No Confidence

Booked a call out for Central Coast NSW. Tech never showed up. Called Geeks2U and was told they could not contact the tech and couldn’t tell me when, OR IF, he would be coming at all!
Took time off work for the appointment.
I have no confidence at all that this Tech will be reprimanded for doing a no show / no call. Just one of many contractors on their books - guess it’s a percentage game. From now on I will only use local independent co’s.

10 minutes $158

First time user. Slow all-in-one Dell. Diagnosed as having a dud HDD. Replacement HDD quoted ($140) + 3hrs labour ($474) = it's a write-off. All costs were quoted upfront, but didn't anticipate the 10 minute in and out nature of the job. Really uncomfortable with this actually. Company offered a reduced rate fee for the 10 minute consult. Case closed.

Tech support for home wifi mesh system

I used Geeks2U for a wifi network issue at home. We changed from a standard wifi connection to a mesh wifi system and I had spent hours trying to work out why the setup process was not working. Contacted Geeks2U who were able to come the next day. The technician was on time, professional, very knowledgeable and fixed the issue within 10 minutes of arrival. Extremely helpful, very pleasant to deal with

My Geek was wonderful. On time, listened to my problem and was able to fix it quickly. He then checked my entire computer to ensure it was functioning well. Great job setting up my new laptop

I had tried to set up a new laptop myself which ended up with neither laptop working and not being able to print etc. Geeks2u understood all of my issues and was able to fix everything in setting up my laptop correctly as well as showing me some tips. Don't bother

App was cancelled with no communication. I rang 3 times only to be pit on hold for 10 minutes. I got a text message asking to re schedule but no option to reply.
Communication is terrible

Professional help with Computers

Required professional help to transfer a Family History file from an old, unserviceable Laptop to a new computer. Several attempts by me had failed so I called on GEEKS2U. Their technician, Chris, arrived promptly on time and within 30 minutes had solved my problem. Chris was very knowledgeable, efficient and courteous. The Company's fees and charges were very reasonable and I'll be sure to contact them again when I again have computer problems. Show reply

Apple Internal wifi that wouldn’t talk to each other

My Geek was exceedingly informative, transparent in what was working or not working, attended to every worrying aspect and in the process solved other disconnects. More importantly he explained things in an understandable and non judgmental way never making me feel like I should have known about something.
