General Tools Adelaide

Terrible service – General tools are suppliers of engineering tools and machinery, they are agents for Machineryhouse, selling lathes, Mills, drills, and other engineering type tools and machinery. They also sell second hand machinery. Always getting new stock in, but apparently wait until old stock is exhausted, so, if you want a new lathe, mill, bandsaw, bench drill, whatever, you could be in for a lengthy wait as their stock is sourced from Machineryhouse in Melbourne. I placed an order a week,or so ago, told,it would in the week I ordered it, I'm still waiting. No communication from General T'ools at all, I have to ring them and ask. Unfortunately, there is no competition for them, they have the market in Adelaide. I'll give them another week and if they can't tell me when the machine I ordered is in, I'll deal directly with Machineryhouse and pay the freight. I tried ordering another machine from them a few years ago, but they didn't like that machine, so refused to order one in for me. Realistically; very poor business acumen, simply not good enough.
