styletrs. My previous GHD I had for 12 years no issue . They expect a receipt when I have provided a serial number and pictures of the cord label. Very disappointed in a product to stop working and no response . Will not be buying products again and will ensure other friends are warned..

Disgusting service from GHD. Product only worked for a month – Hi. I bought a GHD Max wide plate as well in mid July and after 1 month, an alarm started going off and it never switched back on again. nearly two weeks ago and I can't get hold of anyone on the 1300 443424 number anymore as I they have my device and I'm out of pocket by $300. This is disgusting that the GHD service in Australia is so bad and that the product only lasts a month. If anyone knows of another way to get hold of these people, please let me know urgently

Worst customer service – Australian team is a joke. They send emails to say you are valued as a customer and will get back to you... three months later, still waiting to satisfy my claim. Don't bother buying GHD in Australia as you will never be able to claim for any warranty. Show details

most have broken and stopped working after a few years but I always buy another one.

I bought the platinum ghd but it was faulty, I contacted ghd and they made me return it and they sent me the jamelia ghd, it’s been with me for about 2-3 years and still going strong.

When this one no longer works I will buy another ghd, I’ll forever be buying ghd’s until (god forbid) they stop making them.

Beyond happy with my ghd!!

Excellent! – I'm very happy with my GHD, bought it from my hairdresser years ago, paid a good sum for it and got a white fancy travel hand bag as a gift with it. It heats fast, straightens my hair well, it's slim and easy to use. Compared to a cheaper product I once bought it is superior and worth the money.

I absolutely love my straightener – I'm absolutely happy with this product it heats up within 20 seconds it is very easy to use and I find it doesn't cause my hair to damage in anyway. I find that when I use a hair straightener product it doesn't get left on the straightener like others I've have used in the past

Loved it and then.... red flashing light?? – I had this for six months with no issues, and LOVED it! Suddenly it flashes red every time I use it, and won't heat up. Such a bummer. $200+ and now I can't use it. SOS!

okayish – straightener is okayish but not so great. heating up is great and quick. but the output is not so good. doesn't really leave a straightened look. leaves a frizzy and bushy output.

Durable with pleasing results – I have had this model ghd 5 for more than two years and use it every day. Its performance is great (touch wood) and have been continuously happy with the results so far.

Brilliant Still! – I love this straightener! It takes 20-30 seconds to heat up to 210c I've had it for 4 years and it's still running perfectly!! It doesn't snag my hair, and leaves it shiny (hair treatments help with that~) I'd definitely recommend this product,

Mistake! – Although we bought our straightener already a few years ago, I still wish to warn future buyers of GHD products. Ours costed roughly 400$ and we were able to use it exactly 2 times before it broke down.

Beep, blinking red light and a short fuse – Whilst I was reasonably happy to with my GHD for the past 4 years I noticed this year it started to lose it's heat strength. Then a few days ago like a few other disappointed customers I heard the been and saw the red flash. What I didn't expect was for it to short fuse whilst I as holding it. Luckily for me I was holding it from the plate end when this happened in a blink of an eye.

Can't live wothout – I can't live without my GHD having Curley short hair. I love love love them! I do have to admit, however, that the older models are better - probably not as good for your hair but better.
