Hands down the best hair straightener! I've had mine for such a long time and it still works like it is brand new. So easy to use to do curls or straight hair. I love it!

This straighter is 14 days out of warranty but I can’t get any response. Phone is unanswered and I’m furious. I will be contacting Fair Trading if I don’t hear from them as they should be replacing this. Just want to add to my review that GHD have honoured the warranty tho out of date by 2 weeks so I am very happy. Didn’t ask any questions and obviously have ethics and integrity. Show details

minor changes to make the tool easier to hold in your hand. The little heat resistant sleeve it came with is genious. It not only takes the risk of burning yourself while your straightener cools down but it also protects the heating plates during transportation (if your one of those people that just chuck it in the passenger seat like me :) )

broke after 6 weeks – I purchased from the offical website, after about 6 weeks (<4 uses) the device just flashed and stopped working. I returned the device but the company will not respond to me or refund me, they are pretty much ghosting me. Terrible customer service – Had GHD gold since January We’re replaced eventually and same problem with new ones within 2 weeks. Customer service awful seemingly systems down (have been for 2 months) according to reviews. Now phones are down won’t take calls. I have requested a refund and no one seemingly can help. They have my straighteners and they are well within warranty. It’s shocking service. Will never buy any GHD products again

I cannot use these straighteners – These straighteners do not work on my hair . I spoke to my hairdresser about these , and in his opinion and from his experience using them in clients home , they are not good straighteners. They do not glide through hair , as yiu would expect GhD products to do . Ge said his old ghd originals that he uses on my hair in the salon , are far superior . died and GHD are not responding. There is obviously a known problem with this product so do not waste your money. I'm now back to using my 10 year old Remington which barely grips my fine hair but at least it works! Terrible that they can continue to sell this piece of rubbish.

Dreadful bleeping and service appalling – I bought this a 3 weeks before Christmas to ensure my hair would look good for Christmas and New Year events. It never stopped bleeping! I asked questions with the service team and followed advice. Nothing stops it. So I asked to return it. Service team contacted me twice over the following month to say they would forward the return slip. I have reminded them 4 times more but no return slip. I won’t be replacing but refunding. Stopped working after 1.5 years – Purchased this in 2020 as an upgrade for my older model GHD. glitching like some of the others had near their death - it just no longer switches on at all. I have been a loyal GHD customer for years, but am now making the switch to Cloud Nine. Sick of wasting my money on poor products, and the customer service from GHD has been terrible over the years.

Waste of money - Stopped working as soon as warranty expired – Stopped working as soon as the warranty expired despite always taking very good care of it. I contacted GHD and they told me that "the saving in purchasing a new replacement directly from us is actually not much more than the cost of a repair". Sounds like their products just conveniently break at the time of the warranty expiring so they can continue making more money. Will never waste money on this brand again. So disappointed.

mechanism that switches itself to a cool setting when not in use for a period of time. This has been extremely helpful because I can’t remember how many times I forget to switch it off after using it!!! I just love it and couldn’t live without it! Would highly recommend.

Beeping when switched off – I woke up this morning to the sound of my GHDs beeping. They were plugged in but switched off. They were flashing a red light and beeping every few seconds. Terrible quality of product and I think that all of them should be recalled before someone’s house burns down because the safety device doesn’t switch the straightener off after the correct time limit.
