ghd Oracle

Don’t waste your money – I was searching for an easy to use curler because I have zero skills. I was recommended the oracle. It was very pricey for a curler but I was assured that it was super easy to use. My hair is very long and I explained that I needed something for my daughters hair which is also super long for her dance concert as I was unable to curl it using a normal ghd. They have me a quick demo on my hair. I was told I literally had to just glide it. When I had a go myself it wasn’t perfect but they said after a few goes I will get it. I practiced on my own hair for three hours. It just kept getting straighter and straighter to the point my hair broke off. The day after was concert day and to say it was a disaster was an understatement. I tried it on my daughters and it was horrendous. No one curl formed. My husband took it back to the shop and they refused to refund and said it works fine. I just couldn’t use it correctly. I watched maybe 50 videos and many of them were complaints about how it doesn’t work and it’s a salon tool and you’re supposed to get trained before you’re allowed to purchase!! I ended up using a curler that was about 40 years old in the end. I went back to the shop myself and they said yea we can train you. I ended up with the shop owner who was not even a hairdresser no had he completed any training himself. I then contacted ghd who initially replied and said I could exchange it but would not get the full value of my item. They then Ghosted me until I had to search for the customer services manager on LinkedIn in and then I was sent a different product. The classic curler which I also would not recommend.
