suddenly next day they finally offered the refund.

Full details: Was super excited to design my own shoes and get them made by an Italian company. Ordered 14 September Marketed to with voucher 15 September Email update that shoes were processed for production on 16 September Email notification shoes were on their way 18 October Checked deliver numerous times. Link on tracking number for deliver didn’t work. Enquired as to delivery status 11 December. At this point it had been over 2 months since I ordered. Reply received from their customer service day after saying they would check with their postal service. Nothing for a day. I wrote back the day after requesting an update, then a refund. This was 26 November. Incredulously told the day after that “Please note that we need to wait for the investigation's outcome as the shoes might be delivered to you in the meantime.” Nov 27 I replied asking them to explain what was involved. 27 November I replied after no contact again asking for a refund.

Separately I enquired to my bank about getting a charge back and explaining that I wasn’t sure if this was a scam or just an over extended and unprofessional business. Gave them some details.

May have been a coincidence or a result of me contacting my bank but then on Dec 3 they said “Our postal partners informed us that your parcel was lost in transit. We'll be able to remake your shoes and ship a new pair or we can also issue a refund.”

Ok so now I asked for a refund and that was confirmed but it wasn’t over with them saying “We've already put you for a full refund and it will be processed in the next couple of weeks or so!”

There was some back on forth after this … hopefully you can imagine but a pearler from a reply included “Since we issue our refunds manually and in bulk, it may take 1-2 weeks for the refund to be processed. Furthermore, refunds take longer to be accepted due to internal processes.”

I did get the refund and thankfully it didn’t take 2 weeks.

Overall a confounding experience and no shoes. Really should have read reddit reviews before I even started,

Once was a great brand! – I have purchased few shoes from them and I can see lately their quality and workmanship has dramatically declined. Certainly not worth the long waiting and money you spent any more!

Scammed – They are scammers who ship cheap cement feel shoes as leather and do not allow return nor do they refund! Spare yourself the pain, RUN

TERRIBLE WHEN SOMETHING GOES WRONG – My suede shoes arrived looking beautiful. What I didn't know is they put a wet black dye on the soles and heels. The dye rubbed off on the suede, my floor, sofa, and hands before I figured out what was happening. Emailed photos and a video. Their response said I don't know to clean suede! PLS BE CAREFUL ! BIG SPCAM ! – They send you piece of junk , all their reviews are paid .. they don’t accept return , they are liars, piece of junk plastic which is wrinkled all over and it could be a $10 shoes not $200 . Just be careful don’t waste your time and money Show details

Avoid. Suspicion of feet fetish – Girotti appeared a fun website. I designed my own shoes in 39 extra large width. I had to wait for over 6 weeks to get them. confronted by Girotti request to provide images of my own feet. This is after I provided customer service with 22 images of they shoes showing measurements of A, B and C areas measured using 3 different methods (measuring of empty spaces inside shoes is not that easy without specialised tool). Now I engaged PayPal to take over. Girotti shoes I received are wrong size, however they appear to be well made, using advertised materials. Detailing appears the shoes received some hand finish but do not appear hand made as it was proclaimed on the Girotti website.
