Having caught covid during a recent trip overseas, I could not express my thanks more for such wonderful support both during my illness and back home. Travel Delay Claim – We made a significant claim for costs incurred due to the airline delaying our trip by more then 26hrs. The claims process was simple. We received an email while on holiday letting us know what we needed to send back to progress the claim.
When we returned we emailed the claim form and all supporting documentation requested in the email and the policy. Within 8 days we received our claim review. The claim was approved and the reimbursement was receieved 3 days later.
We have just taken out another policy for our next trip.

trip we did. On the third day into the cruise we were diagnosed with COVID-19, not a severe case but like ‘flu. We emailed Go as soon as we knew and advised them a claim would be lodged for medical expenses, including anti-viral treatment for the COVID, but not until we returned home. We had received our 6th vaccination for COVID just before leaving Australia for this trip. Once we lodged our claim, quite substantial costs due to the ship being USA owned and run, and US$ charges being 50% more than the A$, we had no issues with Go and our two claims were settled and costs refunded within 10 days of lodging them. Pleasant and professional staff, always ready to respond to our emails, and a first class experience. Well done, Go. This was our second travel insurance cover with Go in two years. We had no claims with the first.
