Lovely item poor costumer service with temp guides – Happy with quality of product but terrible costumer services. Contacted company twice (2 weeks apart) asking for clarification on the temperature guides for the go go bag. On the website the temp guide showed up to 24 degrees 1 layer long sleeve however the guide provide with the bag said at 22 degrees one layer short sleeve. I purchased the bag… Read more

because i wanted a larger temperature range for over night but comparatively the bag isn’t any different to other tog rated bags where layers need to be changed every couple of degrees. Still have not received a response from costumer service over which guide is correct.

Good enough but was not warm enough – I purchased the two Merino kids gogo DUVET sleeping bag (for mid temperature) from the Merino kids official website hoping for my baby getting a good warm sleep after reading many reviews and recommendation from other mums. This company def uses high quality materials and designed well but it appears the sleeping bags do not contain much wool in… Read more

it(??) if I am wrong please correct me? I was being told if a baby wears a pajamas and the Duvet sleeping bag, it should be warm enough for the room temperature between 18-22 degrees at night but it was not. So I had to put her on a very thick pj and heater on in her room to keep her warm. So not sure if the product is that worth for the money but the customers service was very good and helpful.

The best thing I’ve bought – We bought our first Merino Kids sleeping bag in 2018, we have since gone on to buy the winter weight bag & the next sizes up for our now toddler. Absolutely worth the money, our son has slept beautifully in them, he is kept toasty warm in winter and cool in summer. His newborn sister doesn’t like to be swaddled and has just gone into a Go Go… Read more

Bag and I trust the brand so much I know that she’s being kept warm and snug!

It’s my go to baby shower gift, as they last so long. They wash really well and are super easy to put in.

The best thing I’ve bought for my kids!!

Three kids have used it, awesome customer service – What a fantastic product. I have had my bags over six years and through three children. I have three of each type and even ended up buying the toddler larger size 2-4 yr old. I had a small fault that one bag had, took a photo, they said don’t bother posting it we will just send you a replacement. Awesome awesome customer service. This product is… Read more

beautiful and so reassuring to know your bub is sleeping with natural fibers that regulate temperature. I bought pyjamas, shirts, and the cutest newborn set. Love it all. Above all I really recommend because of customer service.

Excellent product and outstanding customer service – I recently purchased numerous products from Merino Kids, including a standard weight Go Go bag. After a slight hiccup on my order, I experienced outstanding customer service and the situation was rectified immediately, no questions asked. The quality of the products are excellent and I feel a sense of relief knowing my baby is sleeping in a… Read more

Best investment for a good nights sleep, worth every penny! – These are by the the best sleeping bags on the market. I used the standard weight ones for most of the year and the duvet weight for winter and cooler nights in the spring or fall and it gives me total piece of mind that the little one is warm. It's expensive but considering how long they last, (0-2, or 2-4 years) it's actually not too bad… Read more

considering with other brands you have to size up every few months. I used them with my first born and she's still in them as a toddler and with my second one I didn't bother with any other brand and started him in these as a newborn and it's been wonderful. Plus the bags wash well and don't look worn after several washes over the years in the wool cycle in the machine and I hang them to dry.

Expensive, but worth it for a good nights sleep! – These are the ONLY bags I use. (I think I am keeping merino kids in business!) we have x2 of the summer, duvet and this winter splashed out and got two of the Sherpa ones (now wishing I'd done this sooner - as its proven better to invest in these, then paying to keep the central heating on all night...) I LOVE the temperature & dressing guide (I… Read more

call it the cooking instructions :0) it makes me feel confident that my little ones are comfortable...and I don't want to sound like one of "those mums" but I'm so thankful to have two good sleepers and think this is in part due to the benefits of sleeping in natural fibre.

The construction is good. As my eldest got older (& cheekier) he started unzipping these, however we just pushed the zipper tab into the piping and that put an end to his trickery!

The only sleeping bags I use now – I started out with just a couple of these with my first child and through years of use now just use these exclusively. I see some people have had issues with the durability of the bags which really surprises me. I wash them regularly on the 'wool' cycle in the washing machine and one of my bags is on its third child with almost no signs of wear.… Read more

The merino is very soft and warm yet breathable. It doesn't make the kids sweaty and it has a wider temperature range than 'tog' rated bags that use other types of materials. I use the 'duvet' weight in Winter and find the standard covers the rest of the year (in a heated house in Melbourne).

The merino also doesn't tend to hold smells in the way other bags do. I don't like using strong detergents so this is another drawcard for me. The company ships really quickly to Australia from New Zealand. I had some issues with the courier not being able to deliver to my parcel locker and they handled the whole thing fantastically, tracking it for me several times when the post office failed to inform me of its arrival. Overall an excellent product and excellent customer service. PS. I also love their pyjamas for older children that tend to kick off the covers. Again, soft, breathable and warm.

Disappointing quality for a pricey product – I have 5 of these bags, 3x 0-24mth and 2x toddler. All purchased from Merino Kids. I absolutely loved them for the first 12 months, they're lightweights and easy for bubs to manoeuvre in them, however the lining of two of the smaller bags was quite thin and numerous holes were worn in them despite rotating regularly and following washing… Read more

instructions, also I had issues with one of the bags zips and I had to have it repaired a number of times.. I noticed that the last smaller bag I purchased, the lining has changed and is more durable, however I am now having the same issues with the zip!! I didn't find I got much use out of the toddler bags as by that stage my son was wanting to stand and the bag was not safe. I hoped to use the bags for my second child but I've just gone through all of them and none of them are really usable. I'm instead using a much cheaper (about a third of the cost) brand that has been handed down to me from my sister after her two girls used them, and they are still in perfect condition despite regular washing and wear. After investing so much money with the one brand I'm really disapointed with this purchase. I contacted Merino Kids to discuss my concerns regarding quality but was pretty much advised that they were outside the warranty. I would expect a product that costs this much to be much more durable that I experienced. I wouldn't recommend it despite the fact I love locally produced products. (I consider nz local to aus!). Lightweight, easy for bubs to move around, lovely fabric Wasn't very durable, holes wore in lining despite alternating bags and following care instructions, expensive, faulty zipper, 5 bags at around $150 each only lasted for one child,

Beautiful fabric but too many problems – I had my daughter in Grobags for her first two years but bought a merino go go bag as its temperature range appeared greater and I loved the composition of the fabric. However, my daughter constantly gets her legs stuck out through the holes where the seat belt buckle is supposed to go (while she is sleeping). I've also found the press studs on… Read more

Which means there are many nights I've gone in to her and found the bag at one end of the cot and my daughter up the other end. Afraid ill b switching back to grobags Fabric, appearance Seat belt buckle holes too big- daughter kept getting her leg stick through them. Press studs not strong enough- daughter keeps popping them and getting out if her suit

Couldn't live with out it – I have used their sleeping bags and wraps for both my kids and couldn't live with out them my daughter is now in the toddler bag (2yrs)? I still use a couple of blankets on top of the standard bag in winter when I use the devet cover I use only 1 banker on. Top. Would much prefer my children so sleep in something natural than in a polyster… Read more

Excellent – Totally love this product and would recommend to anyone. Pricey but TOTALLY worth it for the quality. My son moves all the way around his cot every night and is safe and warm and comfortable in this sleeping bag. I also have the cotton one and the winter weight one which is great for the really cold nights( I really really love these… Read more

products!!). I purchased the standard and winter weight bags in a double pack through the "sleepstore" in NZ - it was cheaper than buying in Aust even with postage costs. I purchased this sleeping bag because I LOVE Merino wool and the bag is sized from 0 to 2 years so you dont have to buy new sizes as your baby grows! This weight of merino wool is perfect for approx 9mths of the year in Melb - can be used in both hot and colder weather by simply adapting babies pyjamas (tshirt/ singlet or full sleep suit. Excellent quality fabric, zips and press studs and comes with a lifetime warranty! Merino wool is just such a great fabric - it doesnt absorb smells so even if your baby wets it a little or spews on it - it comes up fresh after airing out on the line or even on the edge of the cot (no need to wash every time). Easy to get baby in an out compared to some other sleeping bags. Has press studs under the arms for newborn/ smaller babies so they cant slide down into it (sids consideration). They may seem expensive, but I think the investment is worth it for a 2 year period. I compared the Grobags, but didnt like the sizing and the quality was not as good.

Excellent – My little man used to get so hot and sweaty and I never knew how to dress him well. This bag was so perfect for regulating his temp. Although it is expensive it lasts two years so you save in the long run from buying more bags after 1 year. I bought one winter and one summer in a deal (they often have deals). They have been great. I have used one… Read more

other winter bag i got given occasionally. It is annoying at times only having one bag and quickly having to wash and dry them. They dry easy in summer but in winter you really need to put them infront of a heater (not too close tho). Or they will take longer than a day to dry. Cosy, Regulates Temp, Ensures they are not too hot Wish I had two

Excellent – This is a fantastic product I can't recommend more highly. My daughter has used hers for nearly 2 years every sleep and it still is in fantastic condition. It is fantastic that you can use this one bag year round and over all sizes rather than purchasing specific bags in each clothing size. In winter when it is less than 18 degrees in the room… Read more

I find a polar fleece jumper over pj's gives the added warmth and I am comfortable leaving my daughter in a 13 degree room overnight (sounds almost cruel doesn't it!) knowing she is snug and warm all night long. My daughter has sleept through the night (from 10 - 6!) from 7 weeks, is this because of this bag or just luck?? I'm sure not complaining!! Peace of mind that it regulates temperature and that your baby wont overheat (which is a SIDS risk factor). It has press studs under the arms so it can be made smaller to fit younger babies and opened to accommodate larger toddlers. Takes a long time to dry, because of the cost we only have one and ideally you need a couple.

Comparable to other sleeping bags – Hate to be a downer, but I bought this bag with pretty high hopes given other great reviews. To be honest though, I don't think that this has been as good as the Grobag or NZ Sweetcheeks sleeping bags that I have. I don't think that it has kept my bub as warm as the others (and I am in a moderate climate -SE Queensland, not somewhere particularly… Read more

cold). Looks nice. The arm holes are quite large. I added a couple of press studs so that I could close them closer to my bub's arms to help keep warmth in. My bub has also managed to get his feet out through the holes provided for seatbelts a couple of times (when he has been in the cot; not buckled up), and I haven't found the bag to be as warm as I hoped. Expensive for what they are. I would purchase something like a Sweetcheeks sleeping bag (fully merino, with zips on seatbelt holes, and cheaper) or Grobag in preference to a Go Go Bag in future, especially given the cost of the Go Go Bag.

Excellent – I could not live without this bag, it really helped establish some great sleeping pattens for our baby as she knew when the bag went on, it was sleep time. I feel its been designed by parents who have tried a few bags and learnt what does not work as you need something thats quick and easy which this is. I also purchased the cotton Go Go bag for… Read more

the really hot days as its cheaper than another merino one so I could alternate on washing day as well. The thing that sold this bag to us was the slit which makes it able to be worn in the car seat or stroller. Another girlfriend of mine purchased another merino bag which did not have this feature and learnt really quickly how valuable such a simple design, was when she had to wake her baby to remove the sleeping bag to put her in the car for the trip home. Its great for traveling also as there is no need to pack sheets and blankets just your Go Go bag and baby's set. Fantastic piece of mind that no matter how hard baby kicked she could not kick it off so would not wake from becoming cold. It also meant I did not have to keep checking on her through the night to make sure she was still covered. Just Brilliant buy, totally worth the extra money, It really does help them sleep better (or it worked for us as our girl is a kicker and would always kick of her swaddle or blankets). It is suitable from temps 18-30 so great if you live somewhere that can drop a bit over night. I found it help keep my little one from moving around the bed so much as without the bag we found her with her legs though the cot bars many times as she is a mover. We live in the tropics and in summer she never felt sweaty as the natural merino fiber wicks away the moisture. Love the fact it has a slit lower down on the bag which means baby can go straight into their car seat without having to unwrap them which was soooo good when you did not want to wake baby from bed to car or car back into bed. The clips and side zipper means its easy to get baby in & out of with minimal fuss (I could remover her from her bag while she was still in bed without waking her) unlike others that slip over the head and wake baby.

Really hard wearing as mine is 2 years old but is still in top condition, no pilling or fraying. The expense but you can occasionally find some on ebay which is where i got mine.
