Bought sim card on 23rd Aug. As of 22nd Sep have not received
I bought a sim card on 23rd aug. Having tracking number with star express but now on 22nd Sep no card. Tried to contact them by their stupid online form and got a computer that couldn't understand me. When I finally got through to a real person was told to call a number for a refund.

Lying, Empty Promises, Tons of time lost in vain, Extreme Disappointment
NEVER NEVER NEVER use this service! This is the longest review I have ever written in my life but if I can help even one person to avoid the similar experience of tons of wasted time and extreme disappointment, then it would be worthy. I will take this to the Ombudsman tribunal, and if there is an update I will update it in the review when I have time.
I was a fool to purchase the SIM from this company. The advertisements were appealing so I was hooked up to buy 3 months and get 3 months for free.
However, their silly system didn't even allow...us to go through the verification even though we were giving all genuine ID documents. After over 10 times of trying and being told by their system our documents couldn't not be verified, we had to gave up the online activation (the same documents goes through smoothly and instantly under our previous supplier). We then chatted online with their center for 2.5 hours and after numerous waiting times this was resolved. Nevertheless, the signal from Gomo provider was so poor that we had no Internet from time to time, at the same time, we had NEVER enjoyed their heavily advertised "buy 3 months and get 3 months for free", instead, we were charged every month until we realised it. Then we contacted the slow responding online center again (they have no calling number, only this way for communication is available), in total, we spent at least 15 hours over 12 days days communicating such a simple matter with those never responsible staffs in their company: [Name Removed], [Name Removed], [Name Removed], and their so called regional supervisor [Name Removed]. The thing was, every person gave different resolutions, with some even giving empty promises, Be aware of their staff [Name Removed], he would give you an empty promise which make you think this will be resolved while eventually it was not the case, and when you contact this company again they would deny the resolution given by the previous staff, and keeping saying sorry to you without solving your issue.

Not for me!
I was offered a free month of Gomo to test out. During the month I did a little travel, and found that the reception is questionable where I live. They 'optus' say they have complete 4G coverage around central Qld. As I'm in a larger city, the data transfer rate was pathetic! I couldn't download much at all. Data speed was next to nothing. Slow as. Calls were also dropping out sometimes up to 5 times in the call. Or it would simply cut off the call.
Over the years I've seen multi mvnos using Optus, must be draining the hell out of their tower...s by the amount of people using this network! I don't have the patience or time to pretend to like this. I gave it a fair go and rode it out almost a month but, definitely, will not give Gomo a second thought. Whatever the issue is, there was little difference travelling around. Thanks for the trial but your plans don't suit or work for me.

All promises, no delivery
Month 3 now since joining Gomo. Automatic subscription doesn't work so each month an hour or more is spent on Gomo's chat support. Reinstall the app. It will definately work this time (it didn't). We'll have your data back to you within 24-48 hours. Failed. Oh, but it's Sunday. Not my issue. Don't make promises you won't be keeping. You'll have a callback within the day. Never eventuated after 48 hours. My husband has the same issues and his fee is waived for the inconvenience but mine was not. The decision making around that appears to be gend...er based as that is the only difference between us and our issues. We treat you like family at Gomo. I don't reward my family based on gender nor do I habitually tell them whatever nonsense I think will get them off my back with zero intention of following through. To say I'm unimpressed is and understatement and I can well see how they've earned such a low score.

Terrible, have had issues with the 3 free months
Got gomo with the deal 3 free months for subscription 4,5 and 6. Subscription 4, they cancelled my plan, I went through chat to which they restarted my subscription from their end but I lost all my rollover. Sub 5 which was meant to be 2nd free month, they charged my card $25, again I had to go through chat to sort it and they refunded the $25. Far too much hassle for my liking. I should not need to be sorting this out again so I will be leaving gomo as no doubt, they'll likely charge my card again next month for my 6th sub (3rd free) . So goodbye gomo, I'm going back to aldi mobile.

Worst MVNO. On a par with Circles Life. Nothing works, took many days to activate. Dispute resolution process a joke. Over charged, then upgraded data allowance they know is not used. Not credited for this when # was ported. No wifi calling. Limited international destinations.
So no "full service" as advertised.
Purchased in November 2020.
App was unusable, so used their chat service to cancel my subscription. I had at least another 30 GB still to use but they cancelled that as well. What a monumental waste of my time and money.

App is shocking
I continuously get the loading screen of doom. Everytime I login andwant to use the app I have to remove and reinstall the app. I set up an auto renewal that keeps turning off. In addition they have promised me a promotion which I may be getting but can't tell as the app doesn't display. This is all from the company that promotes app only.

Good value. Initial Gomo app issue resolved
The iOS Gomo app was not working at all which was infuriating. Using the Gomo complaints channel the issue was resolved, namely, by deleting the app and reinstalling it. Bizarre but it did the job. This is my first month using Gomo. So far, so good.

Gomo mobile phone service
App itself does not effectively communicate with the all important back end processes and despite fixes by developers there remains serious reliability issues with the app and service in general. Save yourself the time and give it a wide berth.

I tried to switch my mother's phone from Dodo to Gomo. She is not very computer literate, and English is her 2nd language, and she is elderly, so i take care of this type of stuff for her.
They promised the world. Their execution was terrible. They assured they would take care of the disconnection from Dodo and connection to Gomo within 48 hours. It actually took more than 2 weeks. After a week of inactivity, I had to contact them to ask what was happening. I was told "you provided us with the wrong information". However they would not te...ll me what the 'wrong information' was so i could not fix it. Then they would not allow me to assist mum as they needed her to do the actually contacting (she does not even know what an online chat is, let alone how to do it) It took an hour of furious typing before they would even phone her to get her permission for me to assist. I was told 'we are not allowed to call customers'. Hello? Aren't you a PHONE COMPANY??? Then after another furious round of discussion, they said again 'it will be done in 48 hours'. Of course, it wasn't. Instead another person rang my mum to ask for more information (yes, a phone call from the phone company who said they are not allowed to call people), so again she had to go through the whole problem again. Then 5 MINUTES LATER ANOTHER PERSON FROM GOMO rang to ask her again for MORE information AND FOR HER PASSPORT NUMBER!!!!!! To which she replied that she had enough and told them she was not joining GOMO anymore. And this is only part of the story.... there was more, but I dont have the energy to list all my complaints here.

when i tried to access the app it simply wouldnt load and I am aware this is a common issue. To fix, I completely uninstalled app then downloaded it again and it seems to work for time being.

Good. No issues once started using
Ordered 2 SIMS. Didnot arrive even after a month. Tracking system didnot work.
Their webchat lady asked me to call 1300369118.
After a long waiting list, the customer serive rep said, "This is Optus. What is gomo?."
Put a complaint on their complaint page. No reply yet.
Is Gomo simply using Optus' name? Or is it a cheap version of Optus

Would I recommend them? Yes. Except that its still not as easy, without being able to call and talk to a customer service rep in a emergency. Also have noticed mobile internet to be slow in certain areas where I didnothave trouble previously
