We booked a cruise for Vivid. My father is having difficulty walking so we needed to change dates. They helped us to move the ticket and then took great care of us. A wonderful time was had by the whole family.

I booked a VIVID cruise for a friend and I and we found the food was simple but fresh...excellent deal all round!
When we went on the cruise we found it at a inexpensive cost for what we got all round...the food was fresh, simple and tasty.

Very poor customer service
The on cruise service was mediocore at best. It was the poor effort in customer service which ruined my overall review. The lack of empathy and communication the company provides for inquiries is extremely poor. Though comparatively cheap, I would personally go to another cruise service.
Colod food, saw someof vivid
Cruise late leaving, food was cold.no tables to eat from ,chairs were cable tired down back to back ready for musical chairs!!!,we were only allowed downstairs and as it was raining it would have been nice to enjoy the view from the upstairs enclosed deck which was not open ,pulled back in early then was hurried off ,alsoo they didnt empty the bins from the earlier cruise.
Terrible Vivid Lights Cruise
A very disappointing experience. The cruise was over an hour late, and being a cruise with an option of a buffet, the queues for food were insane. Everyone was starving because the cruise was so late. It was scheduled to depart at 20:15, and we only got on at 21:30! We were told to arrive 20 mins prior to departure, which also adds insult to injury.
When I mailed them about the disappointing experience, they made a bunch of excuses, and also said that they were only 18 mins late. They also said that they made up the time in the end, which was impossible, as we only got on at the time we were supposed to be finished with the cruise,
I would definitely not recommend this company to anyone!
worst cruise ever
just had the worst Australia day ever,thanks to good time cruises,food was horrible nothing like the ad,also they gave you a thin paper plate with a plastic fork to try and cut a chicken schnitzel,paid 35 dollars for a bottle of wine tasted like vinegar,then got two beers,10 dollars each,they were 20 minutes late in leaving,and there were no tables to eat off,ended up with tomato sauce all over new white pants,we have been on lots of cruises on the harbour never any problem,just wish I had read the reviews,I think Scoopon has to ditch this company

Scoopon needs to know their customer as this has turned me off a good company in Scoopon. This cruise was absolutely disgraceful. As all previous 1 star ratings I agree with all comments. Unlimited drinks what a joke, line up for 40 minutes only to be able to get 1 drink. Scam and fraudulent advertising for sure. New Years eve pay 600- for a ticket and eat at midnight because of disgusting an planned pathetic set up to make money...money spinners with zero service, try to give feedback and Captain whom I'm sure was on something. Said to me 'How...many drinks have you had lady' I had had none because the cruise had started at 9.00pm and I still didn't have a drink at 9.45pm! Start time 7.40pm...5 hours of drinks...NOT!!! @ hours if lucky shut down whilst fireworks on both times when line up was 40 deep all night. You guys need to be shut down, I hope karma comes back to bite you and I also hope Scoopon takes a good look at who they are promoting...Fantasea cruise staff said to us before we boarded...'these guys are cowboys and don't give a damn about customers' boy were they right! Disgraceful.....to say the least.... I told captain I would leave feedback at en...his response...'good luck love'.

Maybe you need some advice on how to organise an event?
Make sure you have multiple jugs off soft drink and water on the tables for a start! And keep them coming. You call 6 lousy spring rolls and a few crackers and dip appetisers considering the list that was provided had more items o it. For starters you served the other party upstairs first who only had about 30 pp give or ta...
Good Time Harbour Cruise was terrible. $90 a head was feed terrible food mostly cheap pasta dishes.
Terrible service and food. Captain rude to patrons and telling people to leave because we asked questions. 1 barman for 150 passengers only allowed 1 drink at a time, had to requeue for another drink like a conga line that is all that we did the complete cruise stand in lines. Docked 25 minutes early and they closed the bar. $89 a head what a joke. Not recommended!!!

My work paid over 12 grand and what did we get for our generosity? 40 minute+ queue for drinks, “unlimited” drinks restricted to one per person at a time and only having one barman on at a time for the majority of the cruise, the “captain” and “DJ” drinking on the job (or under the influence), no room to dance because we were packed in like sardines and having to traverse through a bar queue that went from one end of the boat till ...the other. Oh and for some reason we could bypass this “legislative requirement” of one drink per person at a time by paying $10 or more for an additional drink (when we had already paid for unlimited drinks). The food was average, the ambience and entertainment was terrible and above all, the service was deadset shocking. It was understaffed, undermanaged and just an underwhelming experience to say the least. Do. Not. Book. This. Company. Pay that extra or just go with someone else. Don’t be like the 150 people from my work who were treated like garbage. Actually, garbage gets treated better - at least it gets served with efficiency and common decency once a week.

I have used the services of Goodtime for many years now. I also know of many other individuals and Organisations that have used them. None of them nor myself has had any so called bad experiences. its funny how minorities have time to criticise, but cannot find the time to say something positive when it happens.
Keep up the good work Goodtime, I will continue to book my functions with you and I am sure there are plenty of us that will continue to do so, dont let the very few who just like to whinge about everything spoil your enthusiasm and spirit..

Near death experience!
I have read through all the reviews, and can honestly say that all the ones mentioning that the cruise liner deserves a score below one, they couldn't be more true. For six solid months I have made communication with the Director [name removed]. I have been a very thorough customer in terms of my financial efficiency and understanding. Little did I know that six months ago, I never took the time to come back to the reviews on the google search and realise that I was about to experience a nightmare that far outweighs anything I have ever experie...nced. In the lead up to my event (My partners 30th), I experienced some of the poorest communication that not only lacked detail, but was very short and uninformative. I was constantly required to contact [name removed] to verify answers to questions over and over again as I did not feel confident in what it was that I was actually paying for. You let this slide a little, because you want your partner to have a night to remember, and what better way than to have an amazing cruise! Or so I thought that was going to be the case. Here is the story from my night of the cruise August 26th 2017- Good Time cancelled a bux party on the same night resulting in the angry bux crew storming our boat after it arrived 2 + hours late to dock. The bux crew were taking up the time fighting with the boat crew while were trying to get on the boat. Boat docked at 8:45pm - 9:20pm I left the scene with the bux crew inside the boat still trying to argue with Good Time. At 8:55pm my partner the 30th birthday girl ends up in the harbour water stuck inbetween the boat and the wharf to which I went after her and managed to pull her from safety. I told the crew to go screw themselves and that they ruined my partners whole night. No crew member spoke to me from the boat until at least 9:05pm. No remorse, and simply a notion to decide if I was coming on the boat or not. Physically impossible as the birthday girl went into the water and her memory of her special night traumatized because Good Time's unprofessional manner created the most craziest and unbelievable scenes I have ever been a part of. It is now 10:52pm on 28/08/17. 48 hours later and the only communication I have had is a text from the Director on the night (didn't answer his phone 3 times that night) and an email saying he will reply to my email I sent earlier this morning. No response in my inbox mind you as I write this. They owe me money!!!! I will ensure that others are able to express what happened that night to demonstrate that you do not have the right to mentally and emotionally destroy the perfect day for people. You don't get the right to be dodgy or trade the way you do. We are willing to go further and ensure that no one else will ever go through this trauma. Your lack of compassion and garbage business delivery has affected the lives of so many people in such a painful and unforgiving way. Please take my review with caution, and never burden yourself with the disappointment we are feeling.

Don't Waste Your Money
We purchased Vivid cruise tickets from Livingsocial for a 90 minute cruise with the optional purchase on board of $5 snack plates. We had been with them in 2014 for a similar cruise and thoroughly enjoyed it. This was not to be the case this year. Boat was not opposite Wild Life as stated in the email. A representative was much further down and hard to find. One man collecting vouchers but at least they had a small sign. Boat was no where to be seen at 7.30pm when it was supposed to be leaving. It finally arrived around 8pm. People were lined u...p everywhere for different boats. It was total chaos. The lure of the extra dollar had them cramming in as many as possible with chairs filling both levels. Boat left after 8pm and of course crowds converged on the bars, one on each level. A sign stated that these bars would close 15 mins prior to disembarking. The optional purchase of the $5 snack food did not exist and many passengers had prepurchased food vouchers from other coupon companies for a buffet. After some negotiations we were allowed to purchase a plate of chips for the $5. Wow! Food in the buffet was totally unappealing anyway. A 9.06pm my husband went to get another drink but they had already shut the bars! By the time of disembarking we had about an hour long cruise. It's just not worth the time and effort at all. In future years we will just walk the city as to be honest there really wasn't a great deal to see from the boat anyway. Save your money and get some exercise.
Cruise did not arrive, stranded, sore, cold and very angry
This is a company that will scam you, take your money, not reply to your phone messages or emails. Waited at the dock with a group of other people for a vivid cruise...The boat did not arrive. It appears according to another passenger that the boat launched from a totally different dock as they saw it sail right by...there was no email, no notification, nothing to advise that the boarding location had changed. To top it off, there has been no email response to my complaints about this. SCAMMERS is an understatement. Avoid at all costs.

Waited at the pier with several other groups for the Vivid cruise, the boat did not arrive. Tried to call the listed mobile number, no answer, unable to leave a message.
The service from this company can not be rated, as there is no service. They are thieves, take your money and provide nothing for it.

Nothing is worth your 90 mins here...
Started with a rather disorganized boarding process that was pretty confusing. Then we watched as two members of the crew that were there to assist completely ignored a lady and closed a door in her face. The boat isn't too large and a little crowded. The food is not good...and very cheap tasting. The coke was even gross! How do you mess that up?? If it helps, I'm still sitting on this cruise as I write this...that is how awful this is. Do yourself a favor...don't book them just to save some money like we did. I can find nothing good to say about the experience.
