Google Pixel Watch 2

The watch broke after 18months just stopped turning on and battery couldn't be recharged, it was under warranty so I returned it via Google store and never received my refund..it's been months or store credit. Still waiting, very poor customer service Google Australia.
Purchased at Google Store for $599.
Nice everyday smart watch – This is a good watch overall and a really good watch if you're heavily into Google's architecture. The display is fine, bright and colourful. It integrates well with the Fitbit app for activity tracking. Personally I'm not much into tracking, what I really like about it as an extensive Google Home user with lighting, switches, speakers & hubs all hooked up is that I can control Home from the watch, either by pushing buttons or with your voice. You can also make & receive calls on the watch with the inbuilt speaker which was an unexpected convenience when I'm out shopping or riding my bike with my phone in my backpack. I also use the watch to pay for stuff a lot. Google Assistant built in also gets used frequently . Pixel 2 won't blow you away but it's the most functional smartwatch I've had so far. The design is stylish too, sleek and modern not clunky or overwrought. Look out for half-price specials, I got mine for only $220.
Purchased in at Harvey Norman for $214.
Poor design. Terrible experience. Waste of money – The watch, if you want to call it that, if seriously flawed. Any watch I have owned doesn’t have glass wrapping the edge that easily breaks. It is more like a very expensive tracker. The Pixel band is also flawed in its design leading to dropping the watch when trying to fasten. The tech looks nice, but don’t expect it to last long

Great value smart watch for Pixel users – This is actually my second Pixel Watch 2—let’s just say my first one had an unfortunate fate (I’m pretty good at losing things). But after enjoying the experience with my first Pixel Watch 2, I didn’t hesitate to get another now that they're extremely well priced this month during early black friday sales. The improvements over the original Pixel Watch were clear right from the start. The biggest change? Battery life. It actually gets me through an entire day now without making me anxious about when it’ll die. No, it’s not a multiday watch, but it’s a huge step up, and the faster charging is a lifesaver. A quick charge during my morning routine gives it a good boost that lasts most of the day.
Fitbit’s deeper integration has been a pleasant surprise too. The health and stress tracking work more seamlessly, and I love having detailed insights that don’t just sit there—they’re actually useful.
Of course, not everything’s perfect. I still wish they’d offer more than one size for the watch, so whilst I have big wrists and they provide two bands, the watch face a tad small, refined, yet small.
Despite that, I’m happy I got another Pixel Watch 2. It’s solid, fixes what needed fixing, and has earned a place on my wrist—hopefully for longer this time.
