Gorge Wildlife Park

Gorge Wildlife Park - Cudlee Creek – Not far from Adelaide up Gorge Road to Cuddlee Creek. This place is amazing. I had 2 visitors from overseas (UK) who wanted to see kangaroos and koalas. They were ecstatic when they did the koala holding. Plenty of time allowed with the koalas. The park is big enough that the animals are very comfortable, and there are plenty of them, yet compact enough that we mere mortals can see everything, also comfortably. The animals are well cared for and the staff are really lovely people. Keeper Jack was especially full of info and helpful. We arrived about 10am and left about 3 pm. The kangaroos approach you more in the morning to early afternoon for your special animal friendly food then get fed by the keepers so I suggest feeding them before noon. Food for animals was $3 and was enough. Privately owned place and beautifully maintained. Going back with future visitors for sure. Highly recommended.
