approval process by stating that the sooner I start the sooner the build would start and finish. While that may be true I later found out that this is a sales tactic.

The real issue started after I obtained several other quotes for a similar build. The quotes came in substantially lower with a lot more inclusions. Even after I shared the lower quote with them they advised they could definitely match it.

I was then passed on to the director without any further communication by the person I was dealing up to that point. I was provided with a further quote of works which was $10,000 dearer and included less scope of works/inclusions than that of the competitor quote.

In the end I am left $1650 out of pocket and wasted time.

Please don't rush into signing up with this company and do your research. Based on my experience they over quote for the job at hand and will charge you more for the approval process as well as the build and inclusions. Lots and lots of false promises and sales tactics before you sign-up.
