Follow up of An ongoing problem that gwm cannon service departments don't want to know. I had raised a question about ear blockage that reduces my hearing and pain at the back of the neck that can last a day after driving the 2022-3 cannon ute Still have not solved the issue . I have gone to a audiologist Did test on the effect after driving the ute the test shows ear blockage and reduction of hearing. I also have done a ct scan of of the effected arear which shows inflammation . The next step is eye and ear hospital Ihave also gone to exhaust centers. They said the vihicle should be looked at be the warranty. This is happening only while driving the gwm cannon I have no problem in any other vihicle I also have driven 2 more cannons I canot feel the issue I do have a factory fitted canopy by gwm on mine. They say this is not the problem. So where do I stand, will I ever buy a gwm vehicle again, NO. NO. And the none is for the after service that dose not exist specially by gwm south morang.

I am looking for someone to understand my issue with my new gwm canon x. The pressure in the cabin affects my hearing. I'm sure this is not an isolated problem. As soon as I start driving, my hearing starts getting blocked. If I drive longer, I start getting pains under my years. If I open the windows, the pressure eases off Using the aircon helps a bit . As I drive, I cover my ear with one hand. I can feel the relaxation of my nerves under my ears, after getting out of the car the the pain under the ears remains, and around that airier of my head becomes all painful for a while

So, I decided to give it a go with headphones over my ears I put large headphones over my ears like the one's trades use Problem solved, but I should not be driving with ear protection I want to drive this car not let sit in the garage I wonder how many people have this issue with today's pressurized cabins in vehicles We also have bought a haval no problem with the haval only the ute I have also driven another canon x the problem if any was minimal Spent approx. $90.000 the service dep. Has no answer for me. This pressurise cabins in cars should be put to a better test Can anybody please HELP Paul. kyriakou [Number Removed]

With your aircon off and windows closed, on your environmental control cabin air selection, select for outside ram air entry from any available settings. That will depressurise your cabin to equal that of the ambient pressure (outside car). You should now drive without problem of cabin pressure. Thanks.

I have given it a go including using the fan air also with open windows it helps about 4 out 0f10 only on the blockage of the years it's like in an air plain or going up a hill and it's constant As the pain at the back of my years it is actually the back of my years running all they way up and down my neck on both sides to the point if I turn my head left or right it heart's like tension build up I have also taken the headrest of It don't stop the pain but I can stretch my neck back and forth for a slight relief Do you knaw also how can I get the email of the GWM direct contect

Paul, I've seen your posts in a few places now and as a panel beater I feel the need to throw you a recommendation from outside the service department. Firstly, bugger south morang GWM. They're useless. Take your cannon to Ralph D'Silva and ask them to check the motorized vents in the firewall. If they are not functioning properly then the cabin will become pressurized which may be causing you're issues. If you're getting some relief from cracking a window, I would suggest the problem would be pressure related - which (and now I'm spitballing here) may cause a change in sound or vibration frequency's due to the change in air pressure.

Anywho, get those vents checked. There will also be vents behind the rear seats to allow pressure to escape. Make sure to get them to ensure they're not being prevented from opening.

I did go there they did say they can fix the problem under the warranty after 2 weeks there they called me they said to me I need to email great wall Couse if they continue great wall needs to pay them On contecting gwm they said to me my canopy has to come off . The canopy was put by gwm south morang the management don't give a care I do not believe is the canopy but I will take it off just to see, I sat inside the canopy for 45 min while some one was driving I felt nothing, Also I had a canon L for 2 weeks with no problem it also had a canopy. This ute is sending me to depletion, The Medicle profetion canot work out way I spent 2 nights in hospital And GWM is sitting on their desks using emails and private phone call. That you canot communicate with I find it very difficult and frustrating that car companies through there vehicles in this country and there's nothing we can do about it
