Grobag Swaddle

Not as easy as it seems – I purchased one swaddle grobag in cosy. It's a useful feature that you can have arms in or out and nappy changes are easy with the zip at the bottom. However, I have found it very difficult to get on with the zipper starting at the neck. My baby moves around too much when drowsy but not asleep. It's easy to get on when my baby is in deep sleep. have ended up using a conventional swaddle more often and only used the swaddle grobag a handful of times.
I've noticed that some other reviews appear to be about the groswaddle rather than the swaddle grobag. I also had purchased two groswaddles. The instructions on the packaging made it appear easy to use. I didn't find it was any easier than a conventional swaddle. My baby easily popped his arms out and, as someone else mentioned, he kicked his legs through the bottom as well.
A decent, easy to use swaddle – I liked this swaddle. Despite what others have said, it fit my bub well from birth to around 14 weeks (she was average sized, 3.4kg and 50cm at birth). However I have two different designs and one seems tighter than the other (though I may have shrunk one in the dryer). The ability to remove arms is good for feeding when they are little and need… Read more
their hands to fee properly, can just pop the arms out and in without removing the whole swaddle. Similarly the zip bottom is great for night nappy changes.
they don't work! as soon as bub is able to squirm they'll be out of it – My 3 day old can already wriggle out of it! Such a waste of money! As soon as we got home from hospital they went in the bin and we brought muslin wraps for a fraction of the price! Im pretty unimpressed i spent so much money on them! Not worth the money
OK – My son was born weighing 4.5kg and just over 55cm, so we weren't really able to use this as he was too long for it, however we gave it our best shot. The base really didnt seem wide enough even for an average sized baby, plus we ended up finding out that our little one didn't want his arms wrapped up. However the product itself seemed to be fairly… Read more
hard wearing with washing and drying, it had lovely and bright patterns, though I dont think it is worth the money since you only use it for a short period. The grobag sleeping bags however are great! Lovely bright patterns Expensive, and didn't use for very long
Terrible – In the end my baby has never used this swaddle. He was already too big for it when he was born (7lb 15). It was expensive to purchase and it lost its shape after it was washed. I wouldn't recommend to anyone buying a ready made swaddle, I would just stick to the square ones and wrap them yourselves! Looked cute Way too small, Didn't wash up well, Expensive
Safe to use & piece of mind knowing bub is warm – As soon as my little one began to wriggle out of his swaddle I knew it was time for an upgrade. After some lengthy research the grobag won me, after using it this winter I knew I had made the right choice. Bubs is now 5 months & loves to lift his legs up & move around. To my relief I know the grobag will never cover his head like a blanket can. … Read more
Best purchase I have made, I have togs 2.5, 1& 0.5. They come in many patterns to suite boy / girl or they have cute patterns to suite either( great if you are planning more babies)
Also the travel grobag has come in handy for the drop off @ grandmas without undressing/dressing him in the AM.
I bought most of mine when they were on Sale.I would have given this a five star but I am always surprised & impressed when an improvement is made with any product. Safe product, I know the quality is great & my little one is warm enough with this product. Can be pricey, but worth it.
love this - especially for those cooler nights – We alternate between using Muslin wraps during the day and the Grobag Swaddle in early evening / over night and we love it. My husband says it's pretty much idiot-proof for wrapping up babies and our daughter seems to love it. She's also a fidget and often gets her arm out when swaddled with regular blankets or muslin wraps but is nice and snug in the swaddle. very snug for baby
One of my favorite baby products – I love our Swaddle wrap and so dose our newborn, I received one at my baby shower and used it from day one in the hospital. My daughter loves to be swaddled with her arms in, its the only way she will sleep. She also suffers from bad re-flux and wrapping her in her swaddle helps. She is now four weeks old and we now own three Grobag Swaddles, first… Read more
day home I sent hubby out to buy two more we use them every day. Soft with cute patterns, it washes and wears well. Helps baby to sleep, I have not had any issues with size our daughter was born 8 pound and it fits fine with plenty of growing room. None realy, its a little expensive but you get what you pay for.
Terrible – I haven't gotten much use from this product for the price of it. If the base was wider I possibly could get a few more weeks out if it. Had I known how easy it actually is to swaddle a baby I'd have just stuck to muslin. Infact my baby was to small to use it on at first so she only got maybe 3 weeks use out of it. There are many cheaper easier… Read more
to use products out there that have the same features. easy to use. the pattern is bright a fun The base of the foot section is too narrow so by 5 weeks my baby could get her feet free.
Terrible – I purchased this after reading great things about it! I got it at a discounted price but was still quite expensive for just one. It stated for use to 3 months - my baby only got 4 weeks use out of it before he started kicking his feet free from the bottom section. I also found by wrapping it firmly around the shoulders it stretched and he was able… Read more
to work his arms out of it in no time so I had to keep rewrapping him. Then after a month, it was not wide enough to wrap around and underneath him, and he was able to wiggle out of it. Very disappointed and not worth the sale of $30. An easy way to swaddle a NEWBORN. The price, and the amount of use you get from it.
Bad – We didn't use our swaddle for very long at all, in fact probably only a few nights, at first it seemed too big for our tiny newborn and then she seemed to grow out of it overnight. Also you tend to need a few different wraps and it would not be economical at all for us to have bought more than one of these. I would probably reccomend parents save… Read more
their money for the other grobag products and just use muslin cloth or basic cotton wraps in the beginning. Trusted brand, and it is very cute, soft fabric. Price! And 'usability'. Not very useful for very long. 'Stretched' after not many uses.
