EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE - ONLINE ORDER I highly recommend Habitat Pet Supplies for their wonderful customer service. I placed an order for my fur-babies, paid and checked out, only to realize I forgot to use my 10% off CODE at checkout. I immediately contacted them via email and there were only to happy to review/update my order and give me a partial refund using my % CODE THANK YOU KINDLY

Seems like a scam site. They asked me to provide bank statements and a copy of my ID to fulfil an online order I made. Don't shop here.

Overpriced – Habitat want $132 for a 6-pack of Siparica Trio for small dogs. Pet Barn want $81. Sure, Pet Barn claim 'special discount', but there is usually someone selling this item for less than $85. That's $50 less than Habitat's outrageous price. But when I pointed out to them that a 6-pack costs more per pill than a 3 pack, they increased their 3-pack price. All the appearances of dodgy pricing.

Incidental info: I purchased the 3-pack assuming it was the 6-pack. That was my costly mistake.

Slow to fulfill oders – After a week my order still hadn't been shipped wont anwser my response for a refund keep getting the same generic email...we have been overwhelmed with orders blah blah pathetic service

Food / litter cat – Delivery took more than a week ! Had to contact them as am order wasn’t ready after 3 days ordered. Shame as I really wanted to support local business No apologies from the company either

Don’t order online! – I ordered some rabbit treats online (smooshie face treats). They took over 2wks to arrive and had been packed in a satchel instead of a box. Consequently all the treats were completely squashed and broken and unusable. The best this company had to offer for this is 10% off my next order. I won’t be ordering again.

great – Two orders; food, some useful stuff and personalized pet ID tags (with free engraving). Really happy with ID tags ('My Family Classic Heart Purple Dog Tag' and 'My Family Shine Paw Silver Large Dog Tag'), good quality.

Do Not Recommend! – I ordered over 300$ worth of dog food, and the order took nearly 4 weeks to arrive. I messaged them about how their chosen carrier have been unresponsive and it was way passed the estimated delivery period. couldn't tell me when it was arriving or where it even was, so I was left with no option but to drive 8 hours to get food that my dogs can eat as by this point we had completely run out and he has special dietary requirements. If that was me and I had caused such a huge expense and trouble to a customer I'd be way more apologetic and involved in the process, but I guess they don't really care as they already got their money....

Decent price and very quick delivery – I bought a bird net (https://www.habitatpets.com.au/products/avi-one-round-bird-net-large) the price was slightly better than other shops I looked at so I went ahead and bought it. I was not expecting it to arrive within a week because I was unfamiliar with the store, but it ended up arriving in 2 days (ordered Wednesday arrived Friday). I'm very satisfied with the service

Great customer service, prices and range – The staff at the Chirnside store are very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Service was prompt and product range was great. I used click and collect and found it an easy process. Unfortunately one of the products (a raw food item) was out of date, but there was no trouble arranging for a replacement.

Very Unhappy – I bought a 30 litre bag of Fussy Cat Pet Litter, a natural, no-tracking small clay lumps type of litter from Habitat Pet Supplies in June 2019. my cat. I wasn't happy with the look of it, which was distinctly different to the bag I had purchased previously from another source. When trying to scoop up the wet used litter from the tray, it fell straight through the scoop and proved to be a right pain in the butt. I soon noticed that instead of just a few of the large chunks of clay that I normally have to pick up from around the tray, tiny granules were being tracked all through the laundry and other rooms and I had a huge amount of more work to do to sweep or vacuum it all up. This from a product that is supposed to be non-tracking. I don't know if I was just unlucky and got a bag that was filled from the bottom of the manufacturers stockpile or if they have changed the way they produce it. But I'm reluctant to buy the product again to find out. Although I'd only tipped out some for one litter tray, the Habitat store I purchased from, would not refund me or exchange the bag because I no longer had my purchase receipt. I'd purchased in June but didn't open it till August until I had used up my previous product. I hadn't used my credit card, but paid cash. So I'm left with a bag of useless cat litter that gives me a lot of work to do. Since I'm suffering restricted movement from a severe foot injury, I don't appreciate that one bit. Very unhappy with this product and very unhappy with Habitat that they refused to exchange it or refund it. Proof of purchase Policy fail.
