Haier HDW100SCT / HDW100SST / HDW100WCT Questions & Answers
My haier dishwasher does not heat the water and there is no visible element in the base. No information is given in manual about whether this model is self heating or not.
My dishwasher continually goes... even when it’s finished it’s cycle, if I don’t turn it off within half an hr, it restarts! Left for work one day for 9hrs and it was still going when I got home!! Very angry
Has anyone else had their HEIER HDW100SST turn into an oven? Mine filled with water then kept on heating! Lucky I was here to smell the burning smell! Really dangerous! Should not have been allowed onto the market
No problem with mine. Have had it about 18months and it's fine!
Ok. Maybe mine is a one -off gone rogue!
How do you clean the machine
If you’re talking about the front on outside, use damp cloth or whatever you want. If you’re talking about the inside, don’t bother, just throw the dishwasher in the bin where it belongs and buy a different brand. The sooner haier goes out of business, the better for all consumers. They simply make junk in my experience.
How long is Fast cycle?

The fact you want to know how long the fast cycle is shows you didnt read the reviews about the product. Anyone who reads about them know not to go near that brand ever again. What good is a fast or slow cycle on a dishwasher that doesnt wash?
I rinse all my dishes and utensils prior to going in the dishwasher. Will the 'glass' cycle clean them? The normal cycle takes two hours, but the glass cycle takes about 30 minutes. Does the glass cycle just reduce the wash time, or does it only wash the top basket?
Garbage... I would rather a homeless person wash my dishes in their used bath water than this pile of sh!t. If you hand wash your dishes first then put them in this ‘washer’ your dishes will come out dirtier! If this was given to me for free I would have to punch that persons face and say how could you! Absolute garbage.
How long are cycle times? Fast on mine is 2 hours!!!
I can't remember off hand as haven't used this machine for over a year (we have a bosch now which we bought ourselves). From memory, I think there was a quick wash of about twenty minutes but we never used it as it didn't clean the dishes at all.
Can't remember exactly as l tried it a couple of times but the dishes were never clean when finished but l do recall it was not quick, pretty sure it was over an hour.
Normal cycle takes about two hours, glass cycle takes about 30 minutes. Had an issue the other night - but it turns out I hadn't pushed the top basket in far enough and it stopped the dispenser from opening fully.
KM - sounds like you are similar to us - renting and having to use what is already there. Have considered buying a new dishwasher, but really can't afford it (existing one 'works' so isn't going to be replaced)
Does anyone know what the cycle times are?
I don't know exactly but it is quite long, 90 - 120 minutes I'd say for the normal wash.

Hi, I turned the d/washer on & turned the selecter nob, it went bang, the card behind had popped off as did the spring and ballberring. I reassembled it. There is power to the power button, but no matter what I select nothing happens. Do I need a new card? Or is it something more sinister? please advise ASAP

I am very sorry but I have no idea, I have never encountered this problem you will have to contact the suppliers or the place where you bought it. It must be under warranty unless it is voided because you have tried to fix it yourself?
