Keep in mind that a lot of people are more motivated to post negative reviews, so while the reviews you see here are no doubt genuine, there are a lot of other people who have not posted about their satisfaction with the fridge.

I think it's an excellent fridge for the price and it has served me very well.

never comes. Finally, fridge was assessed by a technician, who advised that the fridge should be replaced. Called F&P again, and they advised after an hour of waiting that they would repair it (no timeframe given). Called the repair service to ask for the report, who informed me they can not give it to me. Advised by Dept of Consumer Affairs to go to the retailer, again was like banging my head up against a brick wall again. If I do not hear from either in the next 24 hours, I will be lodging a complaint with Dept of Consumer Affairs, who have already advised that I am more than within my rights to either get a refund or replacement fridge. From all the reviews, it appears that it is not worth getting the fridge repaired as the problems never seem to be fixed. Buyer beware, the Haier customer service is appalling and the fridges are rubbish (and I am quoting a sale person from the retailer where the fridge was purchased). couple easily. Got it home and just wiped over and kick started it up. Motor is very quiet and I placed all my food in it from my small fridge and it looks like I need to do a shop. Has plenty of space and I filled ice tray and came back after an hour and did another lot so freezer is working well but cubes are small in ice marker. Hasn't got a few things like the more expensive or well known names but what would you expect for $300-500 cheaper. Don't need the door to tell me that it's open to long or blue led lights in it. I'm impressed with the quality so far but will keep you posted if anything goes wrong. Has a 2year warranty

Ok well I've had it for a little while now. Works beautifully. Have had no trouble with doors or temp control. I did what it said to do in manual with the temp controller by turning it up full for 24hrs then adjusting down and I have to say I'm impressed so far. Keeps everything cold or frozen in freezer and the compartment in the fridge under the freezer actually keeps things semi frozen. Anyways ATM I'd recommend this fridge but will post a report in the next month or 2.

well the other side and top seal had a gap about 3-4 mm !! Rang customer care, no problems, arranged to meet service person on site no problems ,he arrives, has a quick look mumbles a bit and says this is the 3rd one today ,makes a phone call and advises a replacement one will be arranged.

My problem is/was that I have to drive to KIAMA 90 minutes to be told in 5 minutes that its to be replaced and yep I drive 90 minutes back and am now waiting to be advised when I need to be back there to receive the replacement

I just wish they had been upfront when I advised them of the problem to tell me it was an ongoing issue for this model and a replacement will be arranged.

Other than that the actual fridge does the job for the price paid.

Excellent for sub-$400 new fridge – You can regularly pick these up for less than $400 making them one of the best value small household fridges around. The seals are good and I had to check a few times if it was still working since it is so quiet. I was suprised to find tempered glass shelves as I expected cheap old plastic at this price. It has a meat keeper, crisper and adequate space for cartons and bottles in the door. At this price why would you bother buyinng secondhand, when you can get a 2yr warranty and a nice new fridge. The energy efficiency is actually quite good compared to other brands in its class.

Where you notice the cheapness is in the interior lighting which is a bit poor compared to other fridges and its diminutive size. If you are tall this fridge will be a pain with everything so low to the ground. The freezer is a decent size actually and the ice maker can be removed for extra space. I wouldnt pay $500 for it, but I've never seen it advertised at that price anyway. New crisp and clean, 2yr warranty, tempered glass shelves, perfect for single person households, energy efficient LED interior lighting is a bit poor

Great second fridge – I was a bit nervous about buying this brand, but it’s been great. A perfect second fridge. The freezer fits a surprising about. door shelves have broken, they broke just after the 2 year warranty expired. The temperature is not even across the whole fridge either. Do yourself a favour and choose a different brand, this is a poor quality fridge, wish we had spent extra money on a fridge that was properly made. Will never purchase this brand again.

rating is so-so, but the best feature is how well it chills items. The freezer is very efficient, and will chill my beers from room temperature to very cold in around half an hour, on a setting of only a quarter on the dial.

Compact, Cheap and excellent buy – Wondering with it's space management. Looks very tiny from outside, but actually it's not. claim (its as if they don't want to cover the lost food...;), was promised an email would be sent later that day with the form to complete for lost food, 6 business days later and 3 reminder emails to customer service and still waiting for the promised form.

To be balanced here, the technical staff were excellent, turned up when they said they would, even called ahead. Its a pity that over promising and under delivering is such a common problem where customer service is involved though.

Great price with good energy ratings – After much research for a small fridge freezer combo, this fridge had the best energy rating and at a very reasonable price when compared to other similar fridges. Great Value, runs well – I bought this fridge at Bing lee a few months ago. So far it runs quite well. The fridge is not too loud but still emits a mild humming. Nice fridge – I am loving this fridge so far. It is fairly quiet and you barely notice it until you need it. The freezer works well and doesnt form icicles. slightly more noticeable than the cold setting where the fridges works the least hard. No frost has occurred. I have tried cold for 2 months and it is just as efficient.

The noise,temperature and vibrations are 5/5 since everything is perfect.

Cool product – Purchased this fridge almost a year ago has been great. Slightly loud on the cooling cycle but no major issues. Can be a bit on the small size with shelf spacing between sections making it difficult to store larger items.
