The Haier Heat Pump heat the water to 55 degrees with its compressor in a very effective way. It consumes much lesser energy than by my old water boiler. Besides, I can use its ECO mode to set the preferred time of operations. Good value for money!

Our old 250L electric HW system needed replacing after 25yrs faithful service so I did a large amount of research on hot water heat pumps due to their advertised energy savings + government rebates available. Due to the configuration of our house a split system was required which reduced the available options to a shortlist, top of which was the Haier HP300S2-F7-SET. The price was mid-range compared to competitors products, and includes a good warranty and is backed by Fisher & Paykel, so good local support if required. The unit was installed by Same Day Hot Water in about 4hrs, compared to some other installs i've seen its very neat and tidy and all necessary plumbing covered with insulation. The unit has now been installed for a week, the compressor runs maybe once a day and is very quiet. Its currently in ECO mode which has been heating sufficient hot water for 5 of us (stays between 51-62 deg C) without needing the electric boost function, however I need to look further into setting up the off-peak settings and taking advantage of our solar panels during the day. The unit is connected via wi-fi and accessible via the app to view the water temp and control the system settings, so very user friendly but limited functionality as some options need to be done via the UI on the water tank. Time will tell the impact on the electricity and water bills and early days as yet, but very happy with the install so far.

The heating is fast and stable. Although heat pump work max 55 oC but still hot enough. Over 55oC it requires Electric element to boost heat (more energy consumption). ok with 55oC though

Recently installed Haier HP3000S2-F7 Split System Heat Pump Water Heater. This heat pump suited the needs of our family, was easy to program, has a great boost function for when extra guest stay. Hot water has remained consistent, great that we can change setting via wifi. Manual could contain more detail different mode programming but found information online.

Installed HP300S2-F7 Split System Heat Pump Water Heater 280L today. It is a modern looking appliance with all features I need: - manual off-peak settings - periodic anti-legionella However, the operation manual could definitely be improved, for things like - manual says inspect anode rod every 5 years, but none of the diagram shows where the rod is - there is no explanation what PV function is - there is no instruction how to set the duration of vocation mode - there is no instruction how to set the manual off-peak hours
I had to googled it and found it from Haier website.
